I'm a beginner rider this is my very first bike and I can attest that this bike is perfect for a beginner. It has power but it won't throw you off it's very manageable, it is calm and smooth and nimble. Thanlt being said it can give you enough power when you want to. Only thing I don't love about the bike is the very short first gear, you need to switch up to second gear in literal second. That's why when I'm stopping on light and going on I'm starting on second gear right away, I only do this on flat surfaces though not on uphills. All in all I'm enjoying the bike and I plan to keep it for a long time until I get the Bonnie T100.

@@SonnyReduja Awesome! Glad you are enjoying it. Yes 1st gear is very short indeed. It's even shorter on the scrambler 400 😅 Thanks for watching and commenting 👍😎

You are very fortunate with the excellent weather and great roads ideal for bikes , unlike the UK which is full of awful potholes! Appreciate your videos.

I bought one of these its very good for the price point not without its faults as all bikes are. Looks great good range fast enough for me brakes are very decent too. Front mudguard way too short gearing a bit low edpecially if you have 70 limit roads and accessories arrival seems positively glacial to be delivered. Take a look at the Goerilla though it has a nice tft display centre stand, longer mud guard and tge chain on opposite side to exhaust so is easier to maintain though service itervals are shorter and smaller tank. Also dealers for motorbikes in UK are getting few and far between.

The Bain's Kloof pass road looks like a very nice ride for the scenery and curves. While a bit tight for a spirited ride on a Street Triple, it looks perfect for a smaller bike. One of my bikes is a 155cc 6 speed Yamaha "Exciter", which is a bit of a hot rod amidst the usual ranks of small underbone bikes in Thailand. At 18 horsepower it's not going to stretch your arms, but it's perfectly suited to fly along a road just like that and is lots of fun to push to its limits.
@DarkRiderMotovlogsАй бұрын
That bike sounds pretty awesome! Im sure that 18hp is more than enough for that kind of riding and traffic. Does anyone there have bigger bikes past say 400cc generally?
@rtg1018Ай бұрын
@@DarkRiderMotovlogs The vast majority of bikes here are the small underbone type or small scooters of 150cc or less. There are some 300 to 400cc bikes on the road, but not many in comparison. Bikes over 500cc are considered to be "big bikes" in Thailand. I would estimate that for every 200 small bikes here, there might be 1 big bike. That varies if there is easy access to big bike dealers, such as in the Bangkok metropolitan area. Most brands of big bikes are available, but they are typically beyond the budget of the average Thai. The majority of dealers around the country are only set up to sell smaller size bikes and scooters, and you cannot buy a big bike of the same brand through them. Where I live, it is not rural, but it is also not a major metropolitan area. Unfortunately, there are no big bike dealers within 100 kilometers. I ended up buying my Street Triple from the nearest Triumph dealer, which is 250 kilometers away in Bangkok! I probably have the only Street Triple for a long way around and it gets a lot of attention from locals wondering what it is. Thais on their smaller bikes often try to keep up with me to get a closer look at "Bumblebee", but that usually only works for them if I happen to get stopped at one of the few traffic lights .😄

This speed 400 is a hit over here in India...seeing loads of people going for it, unfortunately do not have an clue how to maintain it, only exceptional people know how to maintain bike, otherwise it is only the big bike folks who know how to maintain their motorcycles!

The bike you have reviewed was lauched a year ago and has received an update last month, so whats the point of this review?
@DarkRiderMotovlogsАй бұрын
@@kshitijghormade584 The point is that is what my dealership had. You think people don't buy old bikes once there's an update? People watch reviews of 10 year old bikes to decide if it's something they might be interested in upgrading to from their current bike. All information is useful, even if it's out of date. Cheers!
