Triumph Speed Triple Walkaround + MODS

What does a special edition Speed Triple 1050 that's been dunked in holy water look like? You're about to find out.
This bike came with a large handful of mods that I couldn't be happier with. So here is a video dedicated to things I wouldn't have been able to afford if I bought the bike 100% stock. In the future I plan on doing a full review on the Speed Triple and the mods.

I have the 08 speed triple with most of the mods you have and a few more in the same colour,I'm running the Low works exhaust,Iv also had the rims polished on the wheels which I think sets the bike off even better and plenty of carbon fibre cost me a small fortune but I love my Triple and doubt if I will ever part with it,I think yours looks and sounds great and very hard to improve on,keep it up and ride safe my friend.

Awesome bike. I had to sell my 2010 Special Edition when I divorced my wife, and I missed her so much afterwards (the bike that is). The GSXR 1000 I bought afterwards just had nowhere near the character. The 2010 SE in black were the best looking models they ever released I reckon.

God that is a sexy fuckin bike! I was originally looking at a Street Triple as my first bike, but my friend convinced me a SV650 would be cheaper, and better to learn on while still having room to grow. That's when I found your channel. You've got a great taste in bikes and music hahahaha! I'm looking to pick up a SV650 later this year and then getting a Street Triple or Speed Triple maybe the same time next year.

Thanks man! I would say between the sv650 and the street triple, you would be set. The street triple would give you a little more to grow into, but I always recommend the SV as a first bike. I'm glad you're liking the channel though! I always try to post up new music to keep things relevant :)

I started on an SV650s, It took me a few months to get used to it. I started to not enjoy riding as it was heavy, cumbersome and awkward. (I have had operations on my wrists, which didn't help) I then bought a street triple about 3 weeks ago. It's another world, so so so so so easy to ride. Light, nippy, goes where you want it. I couldn't imagine having anything else. Ironically, I couldn't stand the sight of them, and then I fell in love with my 2010 Roundhead headlight Street.

Add some eagle headlights. It will realy spruce up the look from the front and give you spotlights at night.

+Thee Random Biker Turn signals surprisingly make a big difference! As far as bike work, the only place I would trust to take mine is Revved up Motorsports in meridian. They should be able to get you a decent price for sure

I went to a place in reno and they were like, ya we can fix the seals on your forks. you should also upgrade the springs in there too. ok let's do it. well actually, triumph doesn't make those parts anymore so never mind. haha I was like ummm....ok? so ya, I'll check that out haha

They should be able to fix the seals at the very least. With older bikes things can obviously vary as far as parts go, but if people can piece back cafe racers from the 70's then it's not like its impossible to find parts

Whoever told you it has an aftermarket shock was pulling your leg, and therefore I'm willing to bet there's nothing aftermarket in the forks either. You also seem to think it has a pod filter. SMH.

+Chris Doms You don't know much about bikes and that's ok because today you gonna learn. The internals of the Triumph Rear "shock" is serviceable and can be rebuilt. Since Racetech doesn't offer new shock replacements, they rebuild the internals on the stock one. Same goes for the forks. Fortunately the forks are adjustable on the speed, so they simply drop in a spring and heavier fork oil and adjust the compression to your weight.
