Triumph Spitfire 1500 front wheel bearing play

The inner seal felts should be oiled since the ride against the spindle but yea it was a good thing you did the change! That bearing left the chat and needed changed! Also after a few drives may about 100 miles recheck for play and tighten if needed.!!

previous owner likely used the cheapest bearing they could find. timken , sfk or nsk bearings are best in quality. cheers. love the height of the front end. looks perfect to me.
