Triumph Street Triple Touring setup | GIVI V47 Top box | MOTO VLOG 14

This vlog is about the touring set up on my bike. Primarily focusing the Givi V47 top box. Based on my recent ride which we covered 1000+ kms using this top box.
The top box model is GIVI V47NN Tech variant. Which has full blacked out finish.
Givi Mounting Setup : 6412FZ
Givi Plate to hold the topbox : M5 Plate
Givi Top box: V47 TECH top-case, 47 ltr, black with anodized aluminium finishing and smoked reflectors.

Interesting how my 2018 Street Triple does not come with grab rails. I need this for riding more than a couple of hours to go out of town. It appears to obstruct the brake light, so will need that extra light. Good that it is removable. Nice video.

I believe it should be the same. Based on the picture of the bike in the internet. We don’t have that model here in India.

What's your model of 675? Becsuse from what I see the rack is for 765. Does it fit normally on 675 street? Ss I'm getting one soon

My bike is 765. For 675, you may have to drill the holes if you already don't have rear grab rails mounted.

It's custom made bro. You can also do it from local garage. Just check for front wheel travel and set the hight accordingly.

10kg is what they have rated. Top Box alone is near to 4kg

Yes it is. No worries about the rain. After using it for many trips, I learned few things. Always pack ur stuff in a inner bag and place it in the box. Instead of packing it directly on the box. Because our luggage is 10kg and the box alone is 4kg. So it gonna be heavy to carry around. I usually load everything in backpack and place it in the box. When I reach the destination I just take the backpack and go and the box stays on the bike, much easier to handle. Speed limit. I mentioned it as 150 kmph. If we are riding in a place where there is no cross wind then we can push it till 170 kmph. No issues faced. If there is cross wind then better to stay below 100 kmph. No drag.

@@APACRIDER Glad to know it's fine in the rain. Thanks for the advice on the inner bag to carry things around. I'm surprised about the weight restriction specified by Givi for the mounting bracket. I was hoping it could hold a bit more weight, but I guess it should be enough to carry essential items for a trip.

@@reaganabraham1528 yes, it could easily take a week trip. When it's empty it can accommodate a 2 full face helmets.
