Been riding my street twin for the past 3 years. You literally took stole the words out of my mouth. Not a single point missed. Kudos for truly understanding the bike in such a short time. One thing I wanted to add is the attention to details on every single part ( the Triumph logos😍 ), and this is one of the most customizable bike out there with over 100 OEM accessories (the price of which is also comparable to the bike 😑).

@@cherr3488 Ground clearance is pretty low. To prevent any damage I've installed a sump guard. The sump guard even further reduces the ground clearance, but atleast it will give some protection. Especially if you are riding with a pillion you have to be careful.

Speed twin has bit of sports bike hardware. But should be okay to settle. Pillion ergonomics is better on street twin or Bonneville T120.

Speed twin is more aggressive in nature it’s next level torque machine but yes if you need the USD forks more torque more modes yes Speed twin any day I love it. ❤️

@@RKMalaysia as an owner of street twin, i would say if your usage is only in city, speed twin will be an overkill. It's an apt machine for open roads as It has huge torque + power which is too much just for city usage. Also it heats up a lot compared to 900. Street twin is actually more than sufficient for city use, you can make traffic progress in a blink. Pillion ride in city on massive torquey bike may not be that comfortable when you do on-off throttle. I would suggest you take minimum 5kms ride in traffic before you confirm.

@@shaikh4695 previous owner first service cheythittaa enikku thannathu. So showroom service charges ariyilla. Njan almost 4000 km odichu, bhayankara complicated engine alla. Pakshe extra care and attention ( radiator cleaning, chain clean and lube at least every 600 kms, regular fluid checks etc) is a must. Namukk cheyyamenne ullu.

While the westerners appreciates the 650 twins and says that it's better to settle for 650 twins and save some money,the Indian reviewers often goes the other way around,unfortunately.Another thing I have noticed is that the gear box of triumphs are NEVER appreciated by the Westerners who use it on a regular basis while people like strell goes head over heels while talking about it. I have seen a comparison of the interceptor and the street twin done by a senior citizen from UK,forgot the channel name.where he said that the gear box of the INT is more accurate.

other double standards I have noticed. Fuel cap - when comes to interceptor-oru 4 laksham rupayude vandiyil vijakiri kodukarunu...ithipo gadha pole pidikanm. When it comes to a 10 lakh bike -casually mentions that it could have been a hinge mechanism. weight - int- tooo heavy, street twin -LIGHT..lol There are some other things like heating,vib etc as well.

Hi Sid, thanks for sharing your experience :). I have no personal inclination to eithier RE or Triumph.Since you have bought this up, lets take a step back and analyze this :) . The RE which goes out of India to EU market is different. This has been confirmed by many Indians who has gone to EU. The quality of the motorcycle is very nice over there and its a CBU/CKD for them which pass the Asian quality checks for exports. So one can have a good feel about the RE bikes over there. Debatable :) And about the feedback about the fuel cap, I have the same feel about the hinge setup for Triumph as well, but its no the hinge which you miss on ST, but the lock mechanism which irritates the rider. Also the RE fuel cap is damn heavy and it feels like holding a "gadha" when we hold the cap holiding at the key. On the other side, Triumph ST fuel cap is not in general holded by the key. First step is to unlock the cap, then you can remove the key from the cap. Then like a screw thread, we take off the cap. And honestly the fuel cap on the ST is much lighter than RE cap. So we dont feel the annoyance of holding it long. Even holding at the key. And about the weight of these two motorcycles, Triumph weight 216kg and Interceptor weighs 202 kg. This is where spec sheets contradicts on road performances. What matters to the rider is the centre of mass of the motorcycle and how the suspension is helping you to ride that heavy bike. Honestly ST does takes any efforts in tight traffic. Interceptor consumes a bit more energy to filter it through because of its riding ergos. I totally agree you on the heating part of the tmoroycle. ST heats up more because of its humungous engine. But rider doesnt feel it directly because of the position of the foot pegs. You can see a small wire structure on 650 which prevents the rider from touching the engine. Its not required in ST because the rider legs doesnt comes that way and less heat is faced by the legs. And honestly I dont blame vibrations on both the bikes. Because they are two cylinders. Much comfortable than singles and less comfy thatn inline-4 engines. A quick ride on both the motorcyles back to back and get you the feel of what I have explained above. Once again I dont have any personal inclination to any brands :) Its feels bad when someone spreads a wrong info about a bike when compared to another. Its like someone saying "You can better buy an R15 than Interceptor".
