Maxime Schmitt Thanks pal. In reality I've only learned the English little by little by watching tv. Especially with Jerry Seinfeld in the 90's. They're theoretically bilingual; English classes are mandatory from grade 1 an up. However, lot of the interviewees seemed pretty old, so maybe their education in English wasn't so consistent. Several of the people also seemed to be tourists from France. And this is Quebec City we're talking about; the people there don't have many opportunities to practice speaking English, and maybe they had a hard time understanding Triumph's accent. It's like people from Chicago or New York starting to only speak Italian, actually no, it's even crazier, because there are deeper, more recent ties there, ethnically and culturally. Quebec's cuisine, local ingredients, culture, music and art have genuinely NO-THING to do with France, at all, like literally New Orleans, Louisiana has WAY more ties with France then the whole province of Quebec.
