Great video guys. I have 230, and I really like how you changed the pipes, but it looks almost identical to the original.

He went this far so now he really should get the wide wheel kit from Canyon Motorcycles. Looks amazing on this bike.
@RevivalCycles4 жыл бұрын
Great idea! We did actually put Canyon wheels on it but the timeline required that we shoot the bike before we completed that final touch.

My issue with a “piggyback” fuel controller is, if you de-cat, run aftermarket air filter(s) install a aftermarket pipe, at anything below 3k rpm, the stock fuel system is in control anything over 3k is controlled by the “piggyback” system. In traffic or below 3k rpm, the engine leans out and gets hot. My Triumph 675 has a “locked ECU. A “live tune” system would be better!

A bike like this can make a rider feel more concerned about damaging the bike than themselves; and it ain’t the bike that causes that conceit.

So you say there’s away to make a copy the TFC by getting the regular Truxton Triumph RS build it from there or better?

What air filter was it running? K&N?

The bike is beautiful and I am currently making my way through all your videos! There is no better way to wind down at night then a beer and a few Revival vids. I am currently modifying my 2020 Thruxton RS and was wondering what modifications you made to the air box/air filter? You mention changing something in the video but never say what it was.

what brembo master cylinder?

Awesome work on this super rare bike! Those are some serious hp gains. Out of curiosity, did you get a stock run on the dyno, or was the 107 crank a factory given number?

Did you guys run a munit and m-button on this install? What relays needed changing?
@RevivalCycles4 жыл бұрын
Hi Matt, On this build we used a pair of specific latching modules and a couple of relays in order to install the momentary switches. I'll provide a link to a guide and parts list below. On Most bikes this new an m.Unit installation is either impossible or impractical and we never use m.Buttons on any install because they solve a problem that doesn't exist and introduce difficult to diagnose malfunctions. technicalarticles.revivalcycles.com/hc/en-us/categories/360000745791-Revival-Kit-Instructions

I’m confused. How do you switch through the rider modes and abs/control with the new switches? Or did you just delete those all together??? I want to do the same with my thruxton r. I really want to clean up the handlebars
@donaldkpark4 жыл бұрын
The info and mode buttons are mapped to two buttons on the left grip.

How come you guys didn’t remove the fake Bonneville-esque “air cleaners”? The bike looks infinitely cleaner without them...

That was not in the cards for this project.

....I'm actually kind of angry that this guy bought a TFC LE Thruxton onlty to do this much work to it. Sweet tail tidy though...
