I don't know the 1050 sport but in my opinion the tiger 850 is pretty short geared, and I like it. ;-)

Do you think you are missing out much with 850 compared to 900 gt? Choosing one now.

Hi there, I don't think I'm missing out compared to a 900 gt, maybe if you really want cruise control but I don't personally. (and I've done days with 7+ hours of highways). I have the quick shifter and heated grips, I don't think I need any more luxury. Maybe if you're really serious about off roading a 900 rally (pro) would be better but then again, the 850 sport is more than capable for 90 percent of riders in my opinion. I hope this is helpful 😉

@@SergeyVikultsev I think parts on which most costs were saved are the suspension and the screen. And I'd say they're still really premium, the suspension is sublime in my opinion, a lot of what I filmed on this channel is during trips to France, Italy and Spain (I'm Belgian). These trips were always with my girlfriend and a lot of luggage and the suspension copes just fine, so I definitely don't feel like I'm missing something there. It's a tad bit unstable under heavy braking whilst riding fast but from what i read and see online, the 900 series has the same "problem", maybe even worse. And the screen is just a bit smaller but I don't mind, it's very clear I have had zero moments where I couldn't read it in 14000 km so again no complaints. I can only recommend this bike, I love it! For traveling or just riding in comfort whilst still having a lot of fun with a brilliant engine (and some off road capabilities) it's hard to beat😜

I think they're okay. They're definitely present but I've done 8+ hour days on the bike (motorways, but also slower stuff) and it's not annoying to me>
