Yes, it is very hepatic to complete Gurudangmar and Zero Point in one stretch. You need a rest day to enjoy Lachug and Lachen. The videos you find on KZbin all follow the guides to complete this trail in one day, but they don't ask you to take an extra day or two for their own purposes. At first time everyone is misled by the agent. In that case I think the bikers from Siliguri may help. By they best of luck for your journey. Stay blessed.

In 2005 three of us did Yumthang, Gurudongmar lake with stay in Lachen (2 nights), Lachung (1 night) and Chungthang (1 night) in Bolero and the cost of stay and transport incl all permits was Rs 9500. This excluded food and drink. Lol. What a trip that was, and we were the only people in Gurudongmar lake as well as in Yumthang valley and the hot springs. Sadly, Sikkim is losing its charm due to excessive construction, commercialisation and traffic. They need to take extra care as not only does it border China but it also lies in a fragile environment. Please do also visit North Bengal, the Kalimpong hills, Sittong, Mirik etc. They are beautiful.

Hi msk. I’ve done gurudongmer. Yes this is the fact that when you ask for permits they told you the hectic one. But if you told them ki hum bike pe aarehehe to fir they take some extra money for extended permit and make you a 7days permit. Humlogo ka jo planning tha wo mangan to mangan 5 din ka plan tha woh bhi humlog advanced banaya tha.

App jis din tak permit lete hai toh utna hi din ka dete hai, extend karna gai toh gadbad ho jata hai ,kyu ki after flash flood only limited tourists can visit as per govt norms , just for their safety. You did'nt show the newly constructed Zumu Chu bridge near Lachen ..... it is the toughest spot for bike rider between Lachen - Gurudongmar. It could have been very helpful for future rider to assess the road condition.
