As already seen, we had the crankshaft oil seal facing the wrong way, while the mainshaft seal behind the clutch was completely absent! Also, on reassembly, it turned out all three clutch springs were of different lengths and types, which wouldn't have done much for the clutch. With all of these faults attended to, it is hoped that the oil in the primary case might stay in there and maybe the clutch might not slip anymore. I also fitted the new spark plug, in case it had anything to do with that occasional misfire.
