Congratulations, you`ve done a perfect job! By far the best really offroad-test-vid of the 800 XC on Tube. I hope we will see more in the future ;-)

Had my XC for a year and still think its probably the best do it all bike i've ever owned. Great fun useable power and sounds gorgeous with a mivv exhaust.

Great video. It's nice to see reviewers really pushing the bike to do what it's supposed to, and not babying it. I've test ridden both versions of the Tiger 800 (CA and XC) on the road, and love them both. I've been riding (and loving) a Honda CB400 for about 18months now, but I know what my next bike will be, and it'll be a tiger 800.

really nice video lads!!! I think that triumph tiger 800xc:At first impression I thought - noo..., but then when you discover capability, engine build and sound , mpg( 41 urban , 63 motorway) and then 1 st ride - you are fall in a love for this bike...like me.;)

G'day, Yeah! a good video. I've had my XC since the end of Feb, just on 6000kms so far. Ridden in rocks, sand, gravel. (snow, that was done with standard Perrelis! not much fun) Put a set of Mittas EO7's on since and had a ball. Only thing to let me down is the fuel consumption but that may change with updated mapping next service!

@bubbiza Considering its size it's pretty good. It's no enduro bike but you can get some air. Cheers

It really depends on how much on or off road riding you do and budget. The Tiger is better for the longer rides and has a great engine but the Tenere is better in technical off road sections but is a lot taller. Test ride both.

I am sold, I need one!

@Jeremybaland The Tiger produces slightly less peak torque than the 800GS but it produces that torque in a very flat "curve" over a huge rev range so it can feel a little flat because it doesn't leap at a certain revs but overall it's not lacking. It's a feeling rather than reality.

Hey guys, great vid. I am definitely looking to get one of the new Tigers sometime this year. Could you tell me where you went riding? I understand if you don't want to give up prime tracks, but if you could give any specifics that would be great! Thanks

thanks for the upload, been looking for a decent off road video for this bike for a while.. how do they handle over jumps ?

@GregCathalina don't bother to wait for Honda. They lost the plot years ago when they stopped production of the AT. Triumph is second to none in reliability, so now you have what could be described as the NEW Africa Twin except it's a Triple now...and British. I'm loving my XC and would say that it is THE best all round, do everything bike on the Planet. And no, I don't work for Triumph. Just a happy customer.

can i ask what tyres are fitted to the white bike at 4:30? The dont look like the Karoo's that were on the other bike. From that angle, anyway...

You said that it the engine does not have the grunt that the "others " do. Which other 800's are you talking about?

One question Clubby, would you buy one over the others???

Hope Honda's watching - they've been in a downward spiral with the last few Transalps. Get it back in gear!
