Beautiful car, my favorite of the Triumphs.. the TR 2. Currrently helping a friend restor his TR 3. I currently have a 1963 MGB. Incidentally I made the Laguna Seca Poster on the garage/shop wall in the video. Likely purchased at the Laguna Seca Race Track Souvenir store. I was at the first Laguna Seca Race in Nov of 1957. My Boy Scout Troop directed traffic. The true name of the race was: The Pebble Beach Races at Laguna Seca. .. AKA the Del Monte Trophy.

My neighbor bought one of these, fairly new I think 🤔.. Our neighborhood, Northolm Addition, has history from 1900 and some from the Motor Speedway. This neighborhood here had the Triumph Dealer, O. A. King and I remember vividly going to see the cars that were in the showroom at King's. This was the earliest of the fifties and of course most everywhere you would look,....neon lighting's bright colors. Indianapolis, Indiana Crooked Creek Baptist Church North Michigan Road

My dad got me a TR2 in beautiful condition for my HS years in the 70s. It ran like a monster, never failed and I teared when my dad sold it since we were moving to Virginia- he was in the NAVY. He got it for $250 in Monterey, CA sold it in 1975 for $9000, It is a car that once you have one, not many really compare.
