I redid one for a guy years ago, had to rebuild the seat frames and a bunch of the seat wire support. Did all the bodywork and painted her white. Came out very nice! Nice fast little car!

Thanks. Going to patch up the seats for now. Cushions and covers are crazy prices. Thanks for stopping in.

She's coming right along Jerry. It will be cool to see that thing on the road. Here in Michigan we are having the same weather as you. Above normal temps and no rain. My once beautiful lawn looks like a hay field. It is all burned up

Yes Sir! Making good progress. I hope you are finding it easy to work on as well. I bet if you take off that brake master and give it a good clean out, it might be useable if the bore is ok. I’ve seen many cars with the original brake master still on and functioning. I use DOT 5 in all my Triumphs now In both brakes and clutch and have never had an issue…I know that you know if you decide to go with DOT 5 you will have to flush the old hard lines to get rid of any old fluid. You will be up and driving around the block soon! Love to watch you work on the 6!

Progress it is. Got to get mine on the road before Les does his, lol. Thought about the cleaning and hone but the master is leaking and filled the servo full of brake fluid. Thanks on the tip for the brake fluid! Still working!

Good Sunday morning to you. Don't you just love brake work. Brakes were never one of my favorite things to work on but I have done a bunch of them. I noticed the front disks are solid, I know the TR-6 is light but with spirited driving is warpage a problem? Years ago ago I worked part time in a friend of mines service station, an outdated term now, and he had a brake machine and after I learned how to use it guess who got to rebuild the shoes and turn the drums and disks. I bet you and I are one of the few that remember when you would arch your shoes to fit the drums. Don't think you have the market cornered on heat, it has been a hot summer in Georgia also. Well say hello to the crew and keep the videos coming.

Yes Sir. I have riveted on many a lining and arched the shoes to match the drum. Lost art for sure. The supplier didn't offer anything but solid rotors. Moss. Guess they will have to work. I always gear down anyway, :). Like to wear out clutches. Still miserably hot here. Guess Fall will happen one of these days. Hello to Jackie. Hope you both are doing well.
