Whoops - at 9:49, the rubber dust cover. Doesn't that need to go on first, before the three spring/locking plates? You might consider editing the video to put that on first. It won't go on after you put the rest together. Otherwise, good video. I'm going to follow you guys to get my '71 back on the road. Do you have a video on replacing the rear break hoses, I have just bought stainless steel braided hoses and am having trouble removing the 2 rear hoses at the connection above the frame. Very difficult to get in there with a wrench and the connector needs to be held steady to break the hose connection, I would like to see it done properly before I attempt it (again.) Thanks!

I have braided brake pipes, what should I do as I think clamping will damage the pipes?

Hi unfortunately you cannot clamp braided brake pipes so you could make your own cap with a female connector and an old piece of copper brake pipe (with the end pinched together).
