I also almost cried watching the MV 😭💕 it’s soooo nice hearing a new song from them again and yeah they do sound even better than before!!! The fact that Byeongkwan has only been out of the army for literally a MONTH at this point is incredible. They have the fancon coming up this week and even a full comeback at the end of the month apparently. They’re really giving us so much (I hope they’re not pushing themselves too hard tho)! And Yuchan is set to be out mid February so it’s not even that long until we get OT5! I MISSED THEM SO MUCH 😭💕😭💕

I thought Down would be a difficult track to follow-up with in terms of English releases but then A.C.E went and just did it so...effortlessly. And this is just the pre-release so I feel like I should be concerned for my well-being when it comes time for the actual mini album release. I'm in the opposite boat: A.C.E's enlistment felt really short for me! I've been into kpop for over a decade, I've seen my fair share of enlistment periods, so I think I've maybe gotten better about compartmentalizing the absences. You can't miss your favorite group if you don't let yourself think about how much you miss them. 🙃

What made their enlistment so much harder was that we never knew if they'd be able to come back. We were always just like on the verge of something big and then enlistment hit and it was like can Beat even keep the lights on while they're gone? But gods bless those opera boys. I think the MV is like this because they started filming it when WoW and Donghun came back and then filmed the rest when Junhee and BK came back which is why they aren't together so they could get the MV and album out faster. Ben about how we're feeling you just described it the best! I was over the clouds when I heard the song and saw the mv! I SAID IT'S SO NOT A.C.E BUT AT THE SAME TIME IT IS AND I'M SO IN LOVE WITH IT, WATCHED IT MANY TIMES and asked myself why it feels like this is better than their last mv? Like how did they managed to keep up with that just getting better and better flow they had 2 years ago just in 4 months that they are back???
