i did this trek on 31st December 2022 There is no snow in McLeodganj now, but it may happen in the coming days. They provide sleeping bags in Triund

The trek starts from Gallu. I hope you do the trek. Start the trek early in the morning. It takes 3-4 hours to reach the top. Trek distance from gallu is 7km one side.Snow availability depends on the weather.if the snow never melts, you will get it at the halfway point, otherwise you will have to reach the top.
