I think when asked about their Paranoid cover he mentioned something about covers being shit if you just play it exactly as it is originally. So essentially he meant if you cover a song exactly as it is originally, you're basically just stealing the song. In my opinion, Trivium could've done more in this cover to make it sound more Trivium and less Type O Negative. I'd rather just listen to the original in this case whereas sometimes I'd play Type O's Paranoid over Sabbath's.

This is lame af im so disappointed. What happened to Ember to Inferno or Shattering the Skies Above? I get it you wanna change things up but dont RUIN the fucking band and making cash grabs. Perfect example of a band changing genres but still making good music, Between the Buried and Me with Coma Ecliptic. Many fans of their older stuff disregard this album but it is very good in its own respect and maintains their touch. You can change genres and not fuck everything up. With each release by new Trivium I become less of a fan, not because they are becoming softer but they are disregarding quality hense Heart From Your Hate and Blind Leading The Blind. I repeat they are losing fans because they fucking suck now. More bands need to take notes from The Dillenger Escape Plan (stop a project before it starts sucking).

That awful delay, the weak verse vocals, the pale snare, prepubescent crunch guitars, the bad and lazy pronounciation in the chorus, the distant dog barks and.... fuck a duck this is so bad 😛 BUT!
