Trivium - Kirisute Gomen (guitar cover with solos)

Hi everybody,
I am very proud to present you my cover of Kirisute Gomen from Trivium! I started working that song 2 years ago, but the solos were way beyond my abilities, so here's the result of 2 years of practice. I guess hard work pays :)

This is a really awesome cover, and the video quality is amazing. If i could offer one piece of constructive criticism, turn your mids up a lot. your guitar would cut through all the other instruments a lot more and we would be able to hear your playing a lot more clearly. keep at it though, you are a fantastic player

Hello merci beaucoup!! 🤘 Il y a deux ans c'était absolument impossible de jouer le solo à cette vitesse, alors j'en ai bouffé des gammes pour gagner en vitesse 😄

@@jonemery4872 Je viens de commencer la guitare il y à peu et j'aimerai avoir quelques conseils ou alors des sites pour apprendre les bases ou des morceaux de débutant. J'ai beaucoup de mal ATM. Mais je veux préserver bien-sûr ! Merci

@@byargonaute Alors je ne sais pas quel niveau tu as, mais pour les débutants mon conseil, ça va sembler cliché mais c'est vraiment de s'amuser sans trop penser aux résultats (même si le but c'est de progresser)! Apprend les accords de bases, les barrés et les arpèges et tu peux déjà faire pas mal de choses. Je n'ai pas d'idées de sites à te conseiller car j'ai appris avec une prof. Pour moi ça a été essentiel et surtout au début, car elle a pu vraiment bien me superviser, corriger les erreurs pour ne pas attraper de mauvaises habitudes qui sont difficiles à s'en débarasser et m'a aidé à m'approprier la guitare. Je ne sais pas quel niveau tu as, mais les premiers morceaux que j'ai appris et qui m'ont vraiment permis de m'approprier la guitare sont des morceaux de Rammstein (les 2 premiers albums sont accordés en standard), Iron Maiden (sans les solos), NoFX, Deep Purple (sans les solos). Bref je ne sais pas si mes conseils sont top, mais il faut avant tout se faire plaisir (je pense que c'est le meilleur moyen de progresser), être supervisé par quelqu'un et être patient! Bon apprentissage en tous cas :)

Hey! Thanks a lot for your comment :) Since Trivium used 7 strings guitars to write that song, I used my 7 string ibanez RGAIX7FM, really great to play that kind of stuff!

Hey thank you! And have fun learning that one, it's a good challenge :) I used an audio interface and recorded the song on Reaper with reaper's plugins: Emissary (Ignite Amps), a Mesa Cabinet, Noisegate and EQ!
