I love Trivium and this record hasn't left my CD player since it came out in October so I am very experienced with each and every song on the album. If I'm being extremely nitpicky, it isn't a perfect performance as there are a few spots that are not quite as crisp as Alex plays on the album. That said, Alex almost certainly did not record the song all in one take like this either so, given that, I'd say it is a solid "A" grade. And remember, this song is insanely complex and difficult to even play (I wouldn't even begin to try myself and I've been playing for 16 years)...

Thank you Brian Oravetz! It took me years of practice! i start with a tempo thats comfortable for me to play double bass then once I'm warmed up, I work on the faster tempo. I also practice by playing along with my favorite songs!
