Insurrection by far cause of where it lies in the song... that nice black metal type minute or so goes into complete shredding chaos... top 5 for me

A lot of black metal influence in the lesser known songs off of Shogun. That black metal type chorus from Into the Mouth. That black metal tremolo picked riff in Kirisute gomen and the octave fills and the octave riff in the breakdown.

My personal favorite is Throes of Perdition. Just because of how it is played into the overall sound of the song.

I love that solo. It does go with the overall sound too. It doesn't shred too hard like all the other solos. Songs like Prometheus, Callisto, and into the mouth were all super fast solos that shredded way too hard for its own sake.

Nice solid list you got there. Though I'm appalled that you didn't put "the deceived" solo. Entrance of the conflagration and ignition are also note worthy.

Yes, you're right about "The deceived" but I didn't put it because it was interrupted many times (by singing/screaming) and it couldn't be splitted.

how anthem (we are the fire) didnt get on here is beyond me, but good job either way, i know it was really tough, there are a lot of good solos by trivium

Thanks for your notification, but after I had chosen the top 15 it was really difficult and unfortunately some good solos had to stay out of the list.

To be honest, The Crusade had a ton of better solos than Anthem, I still fucking love the Anthem solos though. I listened to Anthem exclusively for a long time before I found the Entrance of the Conflagration music video. That video got me into the rest of Crusade since there was no way those two were the only two good songs from that album (I heard bad things about The Crusade which is why I ignored it). Everything else by Trivium besides Vengeance falls and Silence in the snow is really good though. Shogun is a masterpiece,

My fav is Kirisute Gomen or Shogun but im guessing like light

Like Light to the Flies is tied for first with Kirisute Gomen in my opinion. Still, you hit all the good ones, order notwithstanding. Except for maybe Of Prometheus and the Crucifix, but that song tends to get overlooked a lot by everyone. I think if you were to redo the list now, Rise Above the Tides should be on there.
