I so agree about The Sims being prescribed to people who are ill. I played it while I was depressed and making sure my sims were well taken care of with diet, exercise, cleaning the house and scheduled fun time inspired me to just literarily do the same for myself.

I never connected those dots… so thank you for doing so for me. I remember playing the original Sims as a kid and being the strictest parent ever. When the kids got back from school they would be made to study for 2 hours, then dinner (no snacks/junk food), a further 3 hours of studying and homework and then maybe half an hour of playtime before bed.
