One of the artists I work with had a lady book him for her makeup. She agreed to the price and paid the deposit. THEN. Refused to pay the rest because "her husband thought it was too expensive" (like Lady? He's using expensive products PER YOUR REQUEST... ugggggh) So he told her he was going to "use a setting spray" and used the now discontinued Makeup Melter spray from Urban, like REEEEEEEEEAAAALLY went for it and coated her face in remover then he GOT THE HELL OUTTA there. I live for when he retells the story, I CACKLE every time.

The whole fish fry thing has me screeeeeaming. Having grown up in Milwaukee, spent a lot of time on the east side and near 'Tosa...yeah. Truthfully the chances I remember any specific makeup counter person from more than 10 years ago when I barely remember who I talked to this morning is funny, but in 2009...I'd long since moved away, but I *was* performing there with some regularilty, and Mayfair was where I went when I needed to pick up something or get my brows done while there, so...yeah. Fair chance I would have seen pre-Trixie. ;)

Omg, I am from Milwaukee. You are so funny. I used to practically live at Mayfair Mall. I was one of the first customers at the Mac Counter. I don’t remember you though. The lady with the lashes, and the “he’s wearing makeup in church” just cracked me up. Getting makeup done for a fish fry. 😂😂😂😂
