@@1WEareBUFO1 I don't think it's necessarily so. Most makeup "gurus" have ridiculous amounts of makeup, mainly because they make a living out of it. Buying it on a regular for reviews, being sent stuff, etc... Adds up. So imagine someone who makes a living out of doing drag, you NEED to try stuff to see if it'll work better than your current setup and being a well known persona like Trixie, he probably gets sent tons of makeup too. I think it's much more foul when regular makeup gurus show their wall's worth of makeup collection in four ikea cupboards they filled to the brim when all they do with it in real world is wear natural nude makeup everyday.

I'm utterly surprised, a drag queen doesn't have nearly as much makeup as some youtubers who don't even work in the beauty industry.
@jbshiva8652 жыл бұрын
Trixie probably uses a lot more makeup that gets shown on screen because she's doing tours, meet and greets, etc. and drag makeup requires a LOT of products being used, and Trixie's style is even more pancake-like than most regular drag queens. So that might explain why her collection isn't as out of control, more of it gets used.
@TheCaspairaAcula2 жыл бұрын
I was thinking the same thing. It says something that a performer who wears extreme levels of makeup doesn't have nearly what some KZbin makeup channels have. At a certain point those channels are hoarding.. probably mostly because so much comes in for free, and they're "reviewing" and testing.. but it is shocking.

Well PR packages too have so much makeup u may never buy, like when trixie mentioned lipsticks only being swatched i imagine it was a pr package that she just never used ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ also she has super simple makeup and p in the same color range so i imagine thats why she doesnt have like hoards of glitter and other things that other artists may collect more, like even her own packages for glitter r so tiny, and most bulk is def like eyeshadows and she probably only needs so much. Also when she tries makeup its usually the basics and she seems like a p smart spender

That is such a great idea! A great place to donate would be to homeless shelters or domestic violence shelters. Also maybe set a bit aside and have a giveaway for poor MUAs who are going to school for makeup or do special effects makeup and they can enter by leaving their IG IDs and then Trixie can pick a talented up and coming MUA and give them exposure and a bit of free new PR makeup! If you agree, please like this /OPs comment to boost it up so it gets seen and hopefully considered and leave any ideas you have for a makeup giveaway or what you'd like to see in a giveaway video.

@@dannysweethearts never seen the two being friends. and if they were then trixie skips over JS products because he's a bad person. Jeffree Star aswell as James Charles - you wont see mentioned anymore by any unproblematic MUAs (i despise the word problematic but its fitting for JS and JC)

I like her approach of only picking out a few things you love and getting rid of the rest. I think the marie kondo method of assessing each thing individually can encourage you to keep too much. Like maybe all my red lip liners do bring me joy but I don't need 20 of them

Video suggestion: do a look ONLY with makeup you never use but wish you did. No cheating, no standard setting powder, foundation, concealer, nothing. Only products you've never used *for a show* (youtube product videos don't count)
