Faun is the band playing in the first part, Eluveitie is playing the dark part, and Gwydion is the name of the song and also of the old man in the video. Gwydion was a sorcerer is welsh mythologie who tried to summon the trees to fight against a daemon, and that is what this song is about. The first half (in the daylight) when Faun is singing, that is the summoning of the trees and Eluveities part (playing in the dark) is the battle, at the end, when they are singing together, they are in the twillight. Faun is a German pagan/ neo folk band playing primarily on old medieval instruments, so they sing in German, Chrigel from Eluveitie is singing in ancient welsh gaulish. I recommend Federkleid (skirt of feathers or thge plumage of birds) or Walpurgisnacht (which was and still is a pagan holiday)

fun fact, "Gwydion" Wolf Dieter Storl is a writer and has huge knowledge about ethnobotany and ethomedicine, he matches the roles of Gwydion very well.

Thank you mate, great reaction... This song is an anthem for me personally, it literally changed my entire life, made me got deep into paganism... If ur more interested in Faun, please do "Faun ft. Lindy-Fay Hella (of Wardruna) - Galdra", another great one. Wish u all the best, stay safe and greetz from Germany!!

The name of the Song is "Gwydion". It was part of Faun's Album "Pagan" released in 2022. Therefore the song "Gwydion" is by Faun ft. Eluveitie. The two female singers are part of Faun as well.
