I've been listening to rock for over 50 years. And I'll tell you what. This group is just blowing my mind. All three of their albums are 100% hits. The girls are just geniuses at writing great music. Dani's guitar alone cannot cope with its full volume of sound. And that space of the game completely fulfills Ale's bass lines. The group's entire game is built on it. Bass lines dominate the band's sound. Ale simply masterfully writes bass lines in unison with Pau's drums. The three of us sound phenomenal, with Dani's brilliant voice. Many rock giants should simply die of shame listening to the Warning that they write such crap music and mediocrely perform it live at concerts. It's impossible to watch and listen to their crap. Let them learn from these girls how to sing and play. And I still don’t understand why their hits don’t hit the world charts? Why is the Warning not nominated for international awards? How is it that world critics and experts do not notice this group? Not since Nirvana have I heard such brilliant music that didn't blow my mind. I want to listen to them and listen to them ad infinitum. Talents born once every hundred years. They are diamonds in the world of rock music today. I wish them to conquer the world like the Beatles once conquered it. Good luck to them and happiness at the Olympus of glory!!!

Great comment, could not agree more with this comment. Over 50 years for me as well and I am baffled at the incredible talent of these 3 brilliant young Ladies. They are single handedly taking Rock music into the next millennium... It is very unfortunate that many so called "fans" on many of the FB "fan" pages are very "disappointed" in the new Album, claiming they sold out for "simple lyrics" and electronic sounds and effects, well anyway just a lot of BS. The Ladies are growing their music, taking it in new directions but still delivering freaking awesome music. Personally love this new Album, mine should arrive any day now...can't wait. Playing on a loop on my Spotify at this moment. Long live the Villarreal Sisters and my thanks to Luis and Mony for creating these superlative musicians and brilliant song writers.

I think even with social media, at the end, records companies still have a huge impact on the promotion and impact of artists. Given that these ladies always went full freedom, the path was a little more difficult. But, since Lava gave them the flexibility they asked both got what they wanted and now is helping them to spread their music. If you payed attention, this time multiple songs from these album went directly to all major playlists on all music platforms even as first or second pick. Apple, Spotify, Pandora, Tidal, you name it. It was about time and now The Warning is getting to next level, their talent is going to help them to go further than others, I’m sure is going to be that way.

The Warning doesn't do anything without putting a lot of thought into it. First, the song is solid rock and I can already hear this being played on rock radio stations. There is so much to unpack in this video, the one thing that I got from the chains is at the first of the video the entity was taking and destroying their instruments, Pau's kit crashing to the floor, and Ale's bass being taken from her and destroyed. If I'm not mistaken that looks like the same bass she played in their "Enter Sandman" video when she was 9. Anyway, the chains on their current instruments were to keep the entity from taking them and destroying them. They have said in the past they had people telling them they were wasting their time and would never make it. Record labels that wanted them to change themselves (that they turned down) telling them they had to change to be successful. So yes I think this song is a middle finger to all of those people who told them they couldn't do it, the entity carving "Shut Up" in the wall, "U Can't" in flames. The clothes the young versions of them are wearing are the same as what they wore when they were on The Ellen Show and got the $10,000 checks each to go to Berklee School of Music. Their personal video recorder (Petunia) is in the video, the rug has "Dream" painted on it and the setup with the candles is like an exorcism or something. It's like the entity locks them in the room, but that is exactly what they wanted to happen (they're not locked in with it, it's locked in with them) They cover the entity with all the distractions they had to avoid to give their music all of their attention. So much more, it's incredible how they are so creative.

@elgonwilliams76246 ай бұрын
The point of the younger versions of themselves is to link what they were told about shutting up and you can’t do things. At the beginning of the video there is an oriental rug with “Dream” written across it in blood or red paint. I think that’s a reference to what they said at their Tedx shows about not giving up on your dreams. The lyric about choking on their names is to everyone who told them they were wasting their time and would never amount to anything in the industry. Kind of a “How do you like me now” moment. Basically, THAT will haunt the people who told them negative things in the past.

You are correct, they are coming back to tell the entity (represents the haters) "We are still here doing what we want, where are you!?" It seems like this is the second part of the song "Animosity" which Pau wrote aiming at a friend who did want her to ditch the band because it wouldn´t go anywhere anyway. The TV, guitar and drums you see in the beginning is their beginning the TV-game Rock band, The camera filming Dany is Petunia, the clothes the younger versions of them are wearing are the same clothes they wore at The Ellen DeGeneres show, The Guitar Dany is playing is the one she got from Lzzy Hale and on and on it goes. Ales bass and the drums are chained to the floor so that the entity won´t be able to rip them out of their hands. They are literally playing the living daylight out of the thing that told them they would not succeed. The song it self it self is about living with people with God complex, who think they know better all the time.

This is also essentially my interpretation and notes from the video. What do you make of themselves becoming entities at the end? I have two interpretations: 1) Since the song is about God complex and the entity in the video represent those haters and those with God complex, it could be that they are themselves (no one is) immune to imposing their view and hate on others, even themselves. This would translate their self awareness and humility that we know of them. 2) It could be that if they had listened to all those telling them what to do and haters when they were young, they would just be the ghost of themselves or would not have exited at all. Mind you, it may be a bit of both, but just curious what you are making out of it. Cheers!

Like you, the video reminded me of all those movies that I found terrifying at the time. For a long time I was a fan of black metal because I always believed that that genre should musically transport me to the atmosphere of a horror movie, but the videos were cartoonish with the poses of bad guys with corpse pinter that were supposed to take you to that feeling, until I got tired of the fact that only the intro setting gave that feeling and the rest was just "noise". In this case, this video looks more black metal than what I was looking for in that genre for several years.

I really really hope that the merch table the next time I see them live has a shirt with that FEI warning on it. If it's there, it's MINE. I think this song is part 3 of the Warning's F*ck Off Trilogy (Narcisista, Animosity, and now Six Feet Deep). Here, they bury everyone who ever told them to Shut Up, "U Can't", etc, in an absolutely brilliantly conceived and executed video :) Metaphorically speaking, i think it's the power of their dreams as children (note the word DREAM in red in the carpet where they trap and bury the entity) to enable them to survive to the point where their older selves can prove everyone wrong, and finally bury their critics (and quite possibly also some of the more toxic parts of their fanbase) six feet deep, and give them back all the parts of their childhood that they sacrificed to perfect their craft. I think that the reason their older selves are not "really there" in the mirror at the end is because this whole video is from the viewpoint of their younger selves, dreaming of when they'll be able to prove just how wrong the haters have been all along. I think the chains are representative of how much their instruments (and thus their music) are *part of them* that they are completey unwilling to give up. Again, note that the "entity" destroyed all of their childhood ones, so now they know to guard them better... So. Many. Easter. Eggs. In. This. Video. Including the outfits their younger selves are wearing (they're almost identical to the ones they wore when they appeared on the Ellen Degeneres show in 2015, which was what ended up with Ellen helping raise the money to get them into the Berklee School of Music). And also that the guitar the older Dany is using for this video is the one that was gifted to her onstage by her long-time idol Lzzy Hale, during the tour where The Warning opened for Halestorm, thus making it a powerful and personal symbol that yes, in fact, she *CAN* do it, and she has support and friends around her to do it. She's met her idols, and *they* love her. POWER. In reading through all of the lyrics on Keep Me Fed, I think this is a pretty central theme to the entire new album: shut up and let us be who we are, and do what we want to do. And I'm *ALL* for it. GO SISTERS!

This is sort of an elaboration (or continuation?) of Narcisista, where some people in Mexico were giving them crap about doing the majority of their songs in English. Thus, Pau wrote Narcisista, essentially giving the middle finger to those people. Also they had tried to team up with a producer in California, I think, in the early days, and they told them they'd never make it in music, unless they started writing top 40 pop-type stuff, instead of hard rock. (Basically the 'entity' represents the haters) Dany talks briefly about it in the 2nd TedX concert in 2017, between songs.😉 Obviously, following their hearts and that gut feeling of where they wanted to be, paid off!😍 🤘😎🤘

You got the meaning of the video spot on, but according to the band the song is "about dealing with other people’s god complexes." I think the song is about ending a toxic relationship where someone keeps returning despite their selfishness. The narrator decides it's over, symbolizing the end with "six-feet deep." They call out the person's pride and ego, expressing frustration and finality. The relationship is dead and buried.

That's the meaning of the song and the video, it's like a video to his haters who still say they won't go far. In the video there are scenes where they break their instruments, when they only write a letter or song, the entity burns it and tells them that they can no longer do it.

You are totally correct in your reaction. The 9 candles on the rug are a demon summoning circle, with a sigil that reads DREAM. The Warning summon the Entity which has been terrorizing the house (and the Young Warning) into the circle. The first scene of Dany singing is shown from the point of view of the Entity. The Entity is trapped inside the circle of candles, writhing, unable to venture outside. At the end, The Warning give physical form to the Entity by using their telekinetic powers to hurl symbolic objects at it. At that point, a pit opens up within the circle and swallows the Entity into the Abyss. The closing scene shows that The Warning themselves were ghosts. I knew that being a Warlock in World of Warcraft would be good for something someday, even if I was Affliction and not Demonology.

Your probably right. They’ve shut those mouths up, huh? Or, the people telling them they can’t, probably have their mouths hanging open!😮 🤘🕊❤️🤘 ✨

This entity could both mean self-doubt and - more likely - critics and haters who told they'd never make it. It's, in my view, a successor to "Narcicista".

Who wants to bet that it's Rudy in the entity suit?

Alex Valdes is credited as portraying the entity.

The video is about what would have happened if they had not had the support of their parents when they were children, as often happens, with environments that do not support, or even restrict, the artistic vocation of their children. If it had been so, now The Warning would not exist.

Great song and video. That said, I'm wondering why these girls are shown growing up in a house that looks like something that's straight out of the 1970s. The old wooden cabinet TV and VHS tapes appear out of date. I believe at one point I saw a Walkman. These girls grew up in the 2000's with flatscreen TVs and CDs. The house looks more like something their parents would have grown up in. Could this video be speaking more about the missed opportunities or discouragements one of their parents may have experienced at a young age? Also, in the mirror scene, why are the guitars facing the mirror and not the other way around? OK, overthinking it, as seen on the video, I'll just "shut up." Thanks for the reaction.

Aloha All, what I want to know...are the haters still writing negative comments about The Warning to this day? I thought Narcisista addressed this situation, but here we are with another song that seems to be blow back against critics and haters! Please enlighten me. #APDVillaReality

You can't see them in the mirror, Does that mean they are ghost and will haunt the negative/evil things that tried to change them, even when they are 6 feet deep

My guess about the message in this video is a big middle finger to some big shots that think they are God's chosen one in Mexico's music reviewers community telling them that they will never be good and now, those big shots are being buried with TW success. But then again, this is my personal guess 😁

Ghosts, sure! But what about that funky a&& bass line? Shut up is directed at Pau, who the socially conscience member of the band. The ghost figure represents the entity all the self-doubt negativism from all the nay-sayers. We don't know it until the end of the video, but the girls are visiting from the future, coming back to protect their young selves from that entity.

Growing up in Mexico when they did; this kind of music was frowned upon by the industry. No monetary value. Good thing they grew up to be amazing now, right? *LOL*

These young ladies are excellent musicians with incredible voices but the new album sucks. It sounds like it was recorded by a 10 year old that recently discovered the distortion button on the sound board. I know this will get hate replies but I dont read them anyway. If this is the music direction they take they lost me as a fan. It was their in your face hard rock that drew me in. This stuff is crap

Well then bye. No worries, the rest of us will enjoy their musical journey to the top of the rock world As this video shows they won't let nothing or no one stop them from doing what they love.

So why do you go to reactions of the music you hate? To spread your negativity? Yeah, it’s such crap that they sold out of their vinyls and cds at republic. If you don’t like it, don’t listen to it, but stop trying to sway people to your troll hut, not going to happen. It’s your right to not like it but you don’t need to spread your negativity

From the 15-20 sec song snippet thing they released awhile back if you went and presaved on spotify it gave 15-20 previews of each song with a simple one-line description of the songs meaning. and for Six Feet Deep it says " A song about dealing with other people's god complexes"
