I'm a drummer, so I know that Pau's rack toms are shifted to her left, so that her ride cymbal is more inward to the left also, making it more naturally, ergonomically reachable. It's become very, very common among drummers to do the same.
@ronrestorff45484 ай бұрын
It makes more sense when you see the layout from above. Checkout Atlas Rise from the Whiskey A Go Go. I think the main reason for the toms to the left is so you can see her upper body when she sings.
@gregoryvlchek2694 ай бұрын
@@ronrestorff4548, NOPE. No SERIOUS drummer, especially a professional, would sacrifice (ergonomic) comfort just to be better seen. Period.
@ronrestorff45484 ай бұрын
@@gregoryvlchek269 If you watch Atlas Rise with the overhead camera, you can see position 1 slightly to the left (Hi Hat stuff), 2 center (ride), 3 slightly right (floor toms). The orientation is done from the waist, so her pedal orientation isn't affected. Her posture is good when she is not singing or creating performance moves.

In Choke performed at Teatro Metropolitan Ale has a moment with the vocals! Check out Automatic Sun again at the Tecate Pa’l Norte. You will see Pau at some of her finest moments, and a moment of Ale’s badassery!

Pau uses the far right floor tom drum the way most drummers use the far left hihat cymbal, to keep time. It’s unusual in rock, and is a signature Pau style. Very observant

As you usually do, you get very entertaining and interesting reactions, that's great and we thank you for it. ⚡ As you know The Warning have several styles of rock but they are invariably pure rock!! And I continue to reaffirm my humble but very own opinion that with its structure, its cuts, transitions, rhythm changes, modulations, choruses, pre-choruses, drum attacks, its endings… All of this is masterful. The great beauty of their art is in its simplicity but all of this always seems to be at the right time and in the right way, bordering on perfection and predominating sophistication. There could always be other options, but the ones they chose seem to be the exact ones to create a masterpiece of art. Also impregnating everything with a natural touch of inevitable sensuality that only adds improvement and with the feeling, sensitivity and passion of their blood, race and culture. Each of its pieces can be very different, but always with all the TW flavor. It’s very clear that these sisters have no limits. They have that gift that only belongs to the geniuses that appear among us every certain period of time. This is the youngest veteran band in the rock world. Without forgetting that there are only three of them, yes, but three true geniuses in their field. Melodically they are the best, without a doubt. They are the queens of the hook, the riff, the key changes, the contagious rhythms, the catchy melodies, the sublime voices, the unbeatable harmonies and the ambiguous but deep and powerful messages. And this happens song after song… INCREDIBLE!! I think that DPA, with the album "KMF", have risen to the next level, where the greats are, but they have arrived with the sword drawn and the knife between their teeth, very willing to take it by storm and take no prisoners... The new masters of rock: The warning!! Thanks and greetings!! 🤘😁✌️

The song that Band Maid and The Warning performed is going to be on a Band Maid album. It was professionally recorded, so maybe that will be released in the future. Ale sings lead only when Dany or Pau gets sick. She's not fond of the lead microphone and the spotlight that comes with it. If you have not seen the official music video for *Six Feet Deep,* don't miss it.

I believe that because Pau is quite short, to have everything at the comfortable height, she has to spread out the drum elements around. The Warning has just released a music video for Six Feet Deep, latest single out of their album Keep Me Fed they just have released. It is worth checking out!

First off, Pau is tiny. Five foot nothing, and she has a massive drum kit. She also runs the set through her laptop on her left, so it's understandable that she's positioned to the left.

To me, on their new album Keep Me Fed Ale has kinda taken over from Pau as the primary backing vocalist on many songs. In the songs More and HYCAD Ale has extended counter vocals to Dany’s main part. Ale has pretty vehemently stated on numerous occasions that she will never have a song on a studio album where she is the lead vocalist. She does have a naturally beautiful voice but she isn’t as developed as her sisters, yet.

Great song, enjoyed the reaction! I understand that Pau sits the way she does because she is very short - barely 5 feet (about 1.5 meters). She has to do a lot more twisting than most drummers. Ale doesn't like singing lead, and her sisters are OK with her decision. There are a couple of videos of Ale filling in for Dany when Dany was sick, but it's just not her thing.

I'd love to hear Ale sing too. She defers to Dany and Pau naturally as the "baby sister" and hasn't shown the power or confidence to take over songs they do. I suspect that with the right vocal coach, she may eventually emerge as an alternate vocal weapon as they get older. Keep in mind, she's only 19 as of now and has been content with backing vocals behind her sisters.

Anastasia, as noted below, "Choke" live from the Teatro Metropolitan CDMX concert features Ale in a brief solo backed only by a few, very quiet guitar chords from Dany. Beautiful. Notice that it's the most replayed part in the entire video. 🤘 If you watch carefully when she's done, you'll see her grin briefly at Dany, as if to say "Nailed it". 😊 BTW, Listen carefully to the same spot in the music video: pretty sure it's her voice even though it doesn't look like it (someone claimed she'd just had dental work and wasn't up to singing at the time. Maybe🤷🏻♂).

The song Show Them by Bandmaid and The Warning will come out on the next Bandmaid album. I don't know how Bandmaid is normally about copyright but at least for now their publisher has been using strikes. Check the Digital Tour Bus Gear Masters Ep 475. Pau goes over her kit layout. Dany is Ep 471 and Ale is Ep 473. Pau has often mentioned Neil Peart as one of her inspirations. Her layout is not normally that elaborate but depending on the set list she has deviated from her standard kit and it has changed with time also. Her kit when she was 10 had more parts and the one she used for Atlas Rise at the Whisky was also a little different than what she tours with now.
