The first Kanami /Band Maid written song excepted by management and there was no stopping them after this. And what a solo!

Isn't it amazing that this was the first song that Band-Maid's management company allowed them to write, produce, and record, and this is what you get. Their talent and potential was evident with this song.

That solo is pure perfection!

The start of the Kanami era! This was the first song Kanami submitted that the label approved. Pretty much everything after was written by Kanami and the girls! Still one of my favorites!

It's not just the harmonies on this, the actual cadence of the vocals gets me, it's lovely. To me this is pop-punk at it's finest! Want something different check out "Why Why Why" live. Mikus secondary vocals are insane, and the song is unique! kzbin.info/www/bejne/boKqdolvrplmbs0

Once they were left "Alone" by their record / management companies to create what they wanted, well... look what they did. Alone's somewhat sad, heavy yet empowering story (topics Miku's known for writing about), up against Kanami's up-tempo, complex yet rockin' music is quintessential Band-Maid. BAND-MAID is an important influence and contributor to the music industry with a continuous, growing worldwide fanbase. But to me, they are just the best sounding, best writers of hard rock music, and the most fun, joyous group of musicians to come along since the Beatles! Thx, Mr. McCoy!

Hey, I honestly wish and hope for Band-Maid to have all the success and fame possible, but I will say I do enjoy getting to see them live in small venues for $25.

Mincho said this was one of her favorites. This small room is either a recording studio or made to appear as one.

When the suits finally let them go and let actual musicians produce music. Best rock band on the planet.

lol - we knew you loved harmonies, so was waiting for this one to hit you! I think that we would all love Miku to do more dual vocal songs.

The look of pure joy on your face enjoy reacting to Band-Maid is why I love watching reactions. Lets me relive my first time listening to their songs. Do they have a bad song? Yes, they have bad songs, but no one will ever hear them as they don't record them and throw them in the trash. 😆 PO!🕊 🤘😆🤘

Saiki and Miku's vocals have very different timbre which is more obvious live, yet harmonise so well, seemlessly. Just like each instrument playing something completely different and it still works brilliantly. I think Band-Maid's unique sound was born by embracing the member's individual tone and the distinctive style.

One of the reasons I absolutely love band maid is bc of the harmonies, their vocals work just like lane Staley n Jerry cantrell, band maid is Japan's Alice in chains, miku n psyche forming po!tron

Miku Kobato (rhythm guitar, vocals) was originally the only lead singer in Band-Maid, and did not know how to play guitar. She decided that her voice was "too bright" for the music they wanted to play, so Saiki was brought on to do the lead singing. Miku still songs lead on a few songs. Check out Time, Rock In Me, and Sayonakidori.

You may be lucky when they go back to the US, they seem rather partial to Seattle, as Akane screamed while walking down the street on their 2022 tour 'tadaima' - I'm home.

My first 2 CD's after discovery were New Beginnings and Brand new Maid- both remain in my top 20 all time CD's ( of course ALL the MAIDS cd's now are in as well ). But it is amazing after hearing songs like Giovanni and some of their other prog, complex, chaos-wrapped-in-velvet compositions that are SO challenging, SO demanding... I was kind of shocked they all hold up so well. Band Maid is my soup to nuts band. Ballads, hard rock, jazz, blues, prog, punk, thrash all int one band, heck, sometimes all in one song let alone album.
