I have an idea for a story in which Trojak, the Golden Age Ka Zar, T'Chanda, Kwaku Anansi, Zara of the Jungle, Tigerman, Lorna the Jungle Girl, Lion Man (the first african american hero who is public domain btw) and Lo Zar appear and they are all revealed to have been chosen by an ancient jungle god and they form a team that dedicates itself to protect the jungle. It would also reveal Lo Zar was connected in some way to Ka Zar.

Damn. Thats actually a good idea. Too bad those characters are all marvel properties. Just imagining the licensing gives me a headache.

I don't see what would be the issue, their appearances are all marvel's property (except for lion man, who is public domain).

It seems to me that the Simon/Kirby team was Marvel's best creative force during the Golden Age, and Trojak feels like more of their top-notch work. Tarzan ripoffs were a cottage industry by this point (and Marvel had at least one, Ka-Zar, who would pop back up in the Silver Age), but rarely were they done as well as Trojak was. Some fairly novel plot beats, and ahead-of-their-time viewpoints concerning the treatment of race and gender. Love to see it!

Youre right. Just the idea of having continuity between stories is way ahead of its time. I feel like weve had a complete experience with this one and that elevates it above its peers.

Did you ever hear of character called the bouncer he also has connection to Hercules having fought Hercules in the past the bouncer is a descendent of some one Hercules meant on of journeys . The bouncer’s comic starts at issue 10 and I think ends a 14 I don’t what comic it took the numbering over from . I have a reprint of issue 11

Person yes but in these kind of stories the jungle guy usually has never seen a white woman . Remember Tarzan didn’t even know Jana was a female.

They probably thought to read White mans words . As his father tough them but there got gonna tell that his father left a bunch of books and journals and old magazines and old issue of Captain America behind . That’s my no prize . To that question

Nicely done. Thanks! BTW, tigers are not native to Africa. They're in East Asia, mainly India. Think of Shere Khan in "The Jungle Book". Best wishes.

Yes, I think you read the stories out of order. There were good tribes and bad tribes in these stories. I believe an evil tribe capture the gold diggers in the first story.

Yeah i checked the publication dates and i read them out of order. The nazi story comes before the devil flower. Which makes much more sense.

Tigerman Tigerman does whatever a tiger can. Look out here comes the Tigerman. Dude he's the Tigerman and those aren't Indians so yep Africa. Where did Einsteins superior intellegence come from? Crinkly brain. Questionable. Trojaks father could have taught the natives English, but I'd think they were talking their native tounge at the start. Just the old comics translate strange languages instead of putting it into a caption. King of jungle never without troops/. Dude Africa has many tribes. The first tribe was the good guys the second the bad guys. He accidently fell on the spear. Sure he did. Never mind armed gorillias fear explosive tigers.
