When sin has been redefined, then it definitely becomes a priblem in the church amd the standard is up for discussion and according to what i as an individual see fit and what i can interpret in that particular situation. A young man once said that he sees fornication and cohabitation as a non issue because he sees the elders and the pastors having affairs,so who are they that they can say what is wrong or right. We no longer serve and do things on principle. We are loyal to what our church leaders are doing. God have mercy!

The most honest and open conversation i have heard to date regarding this. The only thing I would add is that radical or perhaps culturally defined patriarchy also crept into the church and did/is still doing harm.

I fully agree with umfundisi apha. There is a tendency to want to bulldoze liberal ideas into adventism, and anyone who speaks against these tendencies is problematized.
