I laugh when I see Anthony drink the sauce that comes with duck 😂😂. The steamed curry paste (Hau Mok) in banana leaf cup usually either fish or crab meat inside, you are supposed to eat it with steamed rice. And the veggie inside fish cake, it is long green beans (normally the sauce comes with cucumber). 😃

Hor Mok Pla (Thai Steamed Fish Curry) the fish paste is the same but different vegetable. Mostly use vegetable are Bai yor(Noni leaf) or Ka lum plee(Cabbage).

The "ห่อหมก ho-mok" is eaten with rice. :) The green vegetable in the fried fish cake is long bean. :) It tastes good, doesn't it? :) I haven't been to this place before. The Roast Duck and Ribs are definitely the highlight here. Quite rare to find roast duck at an open-air market these days as the price of a whole duck is inconsistent. As for Hormok, it's basically curry steam-ovens into a cake. It's best to let it cool down a bit (therefore more dense) and eat it at room temperature with rice. Also, the chopped greens in fishcake are string bean. Next time, just come to this market only for Mango Sticky Rice and Durian Sticky Rice. The guy looks rigid, Cheers!!

I am never disappointed with chicken in Thailand. In the streets or at KFC. It's always good. My favorite are still Boat Noodles Soup, Laarb, Pad See Ew or Ladna (with the fat noodles). I love Thai, Lao, Vietnamese and Korean foods!

Hor Mok is basically a steamed Fish Pudding. It's savory and usually had with rice. Fish is the main ingredient and different kinds of veggies were put inside the pudding such as cabbage or local spinach called "Bai Yo".
