In my POV,it wasn’t shown as a good idea to young viewers at the ending. It basically showed that he had to change himself to be accepted,even though he was already a really good troll hunter before turning into a troll.Hopefully there is a way for him to turn back in the series about the witches in 2020.Just my opinion after reading some other reviews by other viewers

You're going glass half empty. he WAS accepted by everyone before going into his Hybrid form... it's just that in order to be strong enough to defeat who he needed to, he needed to be part Troll. and the episode Jimhunters was more Jim thinking his friends and family WOULDN'T accept him due to how he's changed... which they proved they would by the end of the ep.

I was always very attached to the voice of Anton, even before he did trollhunters. There would be times I would hear his voice on a show, not knowing it was him, and fall in love with it immediately. I would always feel crushed after looking up who's voice it was and realizing it was the same actor who had recently passed away. I didn't cry when Jim turned into a troll. I cried at the credits, where the show was dedicated the Anton.

Armyofoctopi I didn’t know who Anton was until I looked him up after falling in love with Jim’s voice. I was absolutely heartbroken when I found out he was dead because I knew they’d have to replace Jim’s voice. I’ve watched a ton of Anton’s other films since then, he seemed like a really kind, funny and truly passionate person. Even though I didn’t know who he was when he was alive, I really miss him. The most recent video I made I actually made it because I didn’t have any videos where you could hear Anton’s voice and I decided to change that.

Yet even now I've left school, I feel like there are so many different options to choose from, right now, I want to get back to performing and drama as well as my singing but I've decided that this course I'm doing, I want to pass it and so it's my key priority other then family, freinds etc. So yea, sorry that was rather long but yea so that's all I wanted to say

I genuinely love this movie with all my heart. I loved how the author made a major plot twist making the story more real if magic existed. This series just shows that the protagonist doesn't always get the happy ending we see in fairytales and that's why I like it. Yes, its gonna be easier to defeat Gunmar and Morgana if he was a troll but there might have been a way to defeat them without becoming one. However, through out the series, Jim's the Young Atlas. The man who carried the sky on his shoulders. He tries to carry the burden all by himself even when he knows and constantly reminded that he was not alone and that was his character flaw. I have to admit, he's handsome for a troll but I still prefer human Jim and FUCK MERLIN! Damn i hate that buttsnack. I think Morgana's gonna be back for Wizards:Tales of Arcadia as the villain and I have a feeling Merlin is not what we think he is. He did cut off Morgana's hand to forge the Amulet and Jim did doubt his intentions in helping them. That might have been a foreshadowing of his true nature 🤔

Well that theory may prove something but the true story of merlin in arthurian legend is actually some what the same to the story of jim, where they sometimes doubt if there carrying a heavy burden alone or with everybody else. Merlin also said to jim that "I was once like you too, a person who cares and loves" something like that so it is possible that merlin made a sacrifice to and that is the love or friendship for morgana in order to save the world.

Came back from the future after wizards and yes: *F&CK MERLIN.* I'm not gonna spoil much but there's this thing that happened to Jim during 3 Below, where a knight shot him a magic thorn thing at his chest and appearently it was moving into his heart. Throught the series, we see magic doing all sorts of things like creating enchanted weapons, freeze things, sent living thinga into the void and *manipulate time* , yet they can take out a magic growing thorn thingy. Literally everytime they said : "There's nothing we can do about it." I said *BULL$HIT* because even though the limit of magic isn't completely defined at this point, the fact that they can pull that thing hard and fast enough that it goes out of Jim is complete utter nonsense.

My life has been changing and been turned upside down so many times these past few years. Jim's transformation is one of the finest commentaries on the human condition ever made. Jim Lake lived in a human world where everyone cares about pie crust more than pie filling. As a troll, Jim is free of all of that nonsense, and what is inside now matters more than what's on the outside. If Humanity could take the same step, the Human race would advance one-thousand years in the span of an instant. Jim is still Jim in every way that matters, and that's not just an Evolution, It is a Revolution, and who better to be the vanguard of a Revolution than a true Hero, no matter what he looks like?

Blinky made me cry when he told Jim "Son" I cried when Dral died I grew emotional when Jim turned troll. I got emotional when Argh died First. This was one of the gutsiest moves and one I really respected that the showrunner didn't just reverse at the end. Too often, they have the empowering thing that makes the character "permanently change", only for it to be reversed because of some unknown magic or whatever later. Honestly this is one of the few shows that really has morals about killing. Jim does kill trolls because he realises that sometimes violence is the answer. While kipo is awarded that but it was really troll hunters. And that jim gets consequences for his actions and he is ultimately a diffrent person on how he started out. This show can be goofy a lot. It still has some depths with the lore and even how everyone differently deals with death. I think that it should have had a part 4 to explore how jim is handling on being half troll. His struggles because it can make this show more relatable. To deal with big change. But I still love 3 bellow.

Imma miss this show😭😭 why did it have to end so quickly😭😭 my baby Jim 😭😭😭 although this was and is a kids show it has a very deep meaning..I mean for 1 he is just a kid and for another he did everything in his power to protect whom he loved. He risked his life and never gave up... It’s been like a year since this show has ended but I still get upset and cry when I rewatch the part where Jim turns into a troll and when he struggles with his new life. I hope the in the final installment of tales of Arcadia which is wizards, that they somehow manage to turn Jim back into a human.

The change was so weird, as it seems like it goes against everything his character is meant to be. He is meant to show that he can be both a human and a troll hunter

I don't think it does because throughout the whole show he was told again and again that there would come a day where he could no longer balance the two worlds. when that day came he had to blend them instead which is why he became half troll but remained half human

I am heartbroken after I’ve seen part 3. I saw Troll Jim before I *actually* saw him and I thought it would be cool and all...now I just see that he didn’t deserve such a fate..can’t go to school, can’t be in the sun, basically live the life he’s lived before.. can’t wait for Wizards to see what happenes to him in the future

Risa Boopette oof yes they did and I cried not only because turning into a troll changed his life (can't go to school, walk in sunlight, even eat normally etc.) but also because I somehow related to that scene to myself because I do have *thoughts* and especially when I was in the shower I would think of turning off the shower to fill the tub (because I hate the body I'm in , I'm trans ftm sooo...) and I also related to when I saw the episode where he was trying to accept that he's a troll now because I felt that pain of not feeling like myself because of what I looked like and what I was, I still feel the same but at least I'm done with those thoughts (at least that's what I think hopefully they don't come back heh...) Sorry for it being personal/long heh
