Jawknee Rustle I actually don't find it that surprising. Nihilism is a common theme in black metal. One of the main themes of this song is that humanity, though it believes otherwise, is ultimately nothing in comparison to eternal nature. One could also go on about how death and black metal is very reactionary against Christianity/ monotheism. Embracing a "pagan" belief system might be seen as an antidote to it.

The view, how the human kingdom crumbles Bells of white churches ring last time Towers are despairing, time turns into dust But the wind noise in the mighty treetops is forever Where does the magical lymph circulate, the sage pilgrim contemplates In the shadows of old oaks, where the paths of wolves are intersecting In the shadows of old oaks, I can hear the anthem of the forest there The songs of ancient battles, about the night and purity Our fires won't burn out in the shadows of old oaks The view, how something that seemed strong is fading away The rare metal of gravestone chips off in the storm Their lofty inscriptions will be taken by rain The bones of true heroes, will be covered by the gold of Autumn... (Some of it won't make sense because some czech phrases are not actually translatable to be understood in english)
@jackhelios69555 жыл бұрын
:D "magical lymph circulate"?
