Ghosts shells are very common in War thunder as well, and my experience there tells me it's a server issue (which is why it's such a problem in WT, their servers are dogshit). Also "screen not penetrated" is such BS

What do mean 2 RNG's, it's so many more than that. For instance will the round be a ghost round, will it land in the aiming circle, will it strike a rivet, is it your turn to win. And then will it pen and how much damage will it do.

I used to use a sound mod in my game, it was awesome... it had echos and shell noises the stock client doesn't have. And when I would watch my replays.... there was no sound. I would try the rewind tactic and it don't work. Since, I have removed that mod and the sounds are fine. Not sure why the sound goes bad, but it might have something to do with the mods everyone uses. You know, with all the updating WG does, you would think they would work on better sounds.

In order to cut corners and save time in an application that is not growing anymore code that has already been written is patched into and used in routines it was not intended. If you do that enough you loop in and out and the program develops unforeseen consequences .... sound no sound.

To the S. Conq.... Lose that AP ammo, it is the reason you died. APCR, and a few HESH. That is my suggestion for ammo in that tank. Great game otherwise.

You know. Seeing the replays of the last half year I would say: the game is broken. And I'm not sure it's fixable. WG is throwing new tanks in the game nearly every two months. As a beginner you have no chance to have influence to the battle since arty is worthless so all the unicorns can farm their enemies without resistance. Arty was an opportunity for bad skilled players to do their part to the game. Tier 8 TDs with 600+ DMG. What shows me most of that WG is not taking care of the game are these unfixed replay file bugs. And all that beside the known problems like the mario karts, the unfair random principles of the game and stupid fantasy tanks.
