I guess I am a special person because I use SPG to make credits in frontline. It is like a light tank the stun DMG is like spotting DMG. And it is more likely that you will only use 1 vehicle in battle, therefore 1 repair bill. With clan credit and personal reserves and make 300k credits in a battle. Frontline is a credit farming mode who cares how you make the credits.

I uninstalled about 9 months ago, but as a FTP account I enjoyed frontline enough as a credit maker. Only had tech tree tanks and a few bond tanks, but it was a good change of pace mode. Recognize the goal isn't to fight to the death on every section of map like in a typical game mode. Survive longer to get higher rank and farm more damage, earn more credits. I get it that some just don't enjoy it...what I don't get is why some find it hard to understand the strategy. It's not rocket surgery

As long as you don't use premium you can make some really good credits especially with the boosters win or lose. I like to use the Pregetto 46, GSOR 1008 and the Bisonte C45. I use a turbo on the GSOR and Bisonte. The important thing is to repair yourself at the repair area. You sat and tried to trade with the Obsidian and you should have turn and run to the repair area. Same thing when you were in the Kpz. 07 RH instead of trying to kill the T26E4, you should have hightailed it to the repair area. Then there is the team, they have a tendency to spread out all over the map and you lose the caps.

I played it last night for the first time in about three years. I was pretty confused TBH, but it was fun and I made a lot of credits even though I died a lot, Most games I made captain. You describe it well Claus. I could relate to what you say about it. I like that I can suck and still not decrease my win rate and make credits. No premium ammo.

Attacking is easier than defending. Barely anybody plays heavies. Most tier 8s can pen tier 8 heavies easily. And way to slow. 1 of the first frontline games i played was in my ferdinand. I was driving more than half the time.

After like 60K battles since 2012. I find the random 15 vs 15 so stale and formulaic and battles all develop in similar way on the same old maps. Frontline has that chaos of the battlefield, the 30 vs 30 player shitshow, the imbalance, the unfair nasty stuff like arty and minefields and everything, nonsensical end goals... Much needed spice and variety.

Frontline is my big money maker. I don’t spam gold, but I do keep about 15 rounds on hand. Always run into a few I can’t pen from the front without it . Teamwork is usually out the window, so I focus on damage. If they want to work as a team, I am all in for it. But, that doesn’t happen often enough. Win or lose it’s a huge credit boost

Front Line is a nice Intermezzo from the dayly sludge, dont take it to seriouse, but its fun, big map, tier 8 only and you cant remember all angles you can be shot at and shoot from. I am a F2P player and i never lost credits with FL ( i shoot only regular amo)

you sometimes get the same map 4 or more times in a row... most people who play this game know not to shoot gold and take off special perks and directives.This mode is all about getting credits. It also is a good way to progress your BP when it is on at the same time.Surprisely enough i get general a lot when i play my elceven90 and the borrasque

Knowing how much you love SPG's have you ever done something on the best places to head for in both long range SPGs and the short range ones like the FV304? I've been finding that playing the short range variety is great fun as you have to move about to find a good place to shoot from but I'm sure I haven't learned them all 🙂

Teams many times are useless, even getting to stage to farm damage and allow bases to be taken as it extends the time and that mean s more points. Just play for yourself like everybody else.

Object of Frontline, secure the flanks then capture the base. Capture the bases and you get time to destroy the objectives and farm damage. If you are spawned as defend, all you have to do is discourage capture of the bases and burn off time. It is a better mode over random battles or make believe modes with hocus pocus and tell a ports... WG is a lost cause until they fix their stupid games.

I love how people rag on SPG players in frontlines. These are the people who don't know how to play them or defend against them. My last 3 games I made general in my spgs and so far have made over 3mil credits. The goal in FL isn't to win or lose, it's about causing damage and farming the creds. Once you understand that, you'll do just fine.

Welcome to war reality, Claus! Mass confusion & dealing with multiple targets that could kill you anytime. Only one thing here if killed you get to fight another day! I made it after 457 days in SE Asia behind the lines with no support & 20-30 to 1 odds, running out of food, water, medical supplies & most f all ammunition (18 against 300-400). I lost my LT & 5 other troopers. I was the only walking wounded, the others had wounds that I had to load their weapons, while treating their wounds & crawling out among the dead enemy & securing their food, water ammo & their weaponry for 11.5 days until finally we were egressed, all 18, including the dead. Rangers leave no-on behind! My brigade of 790 only 213 came home & only 20 came home not missing a body part! That is reality of real war!

Always play front line for yourself never try to win as a team. Put on your credit boosters, remove the gold ammo, steadily accumulate the damage and do not burn through your tanks. Then you will have loads of fun and remember if you get dumped on you can always resporn and get revenge. Get all your field mods completed and the best bit none of it counts for any WN8 or stats. Free hit all round.

It's not about winning or losing yet winning will give you more creds and XP. You want to play as long as possible to get more time to farm dmg to get more. I played 1 game and used 3 tanks and made over 11k xp and lots of creds not even trying using some prem when needed. You do better with something fast that you can retreat and setup new ambush spots and FARM FARM FARM. Also try to max damage to rank up fast as possible to make more. With a prem tank and boosters going you can make crazy amounts of XP and Creds

Start with light then switch to arty depending if we're defending to earn more cap reset score and reach higher rank fast and voila you got more credit even if your team loose. I only play this mod for some credits and rewards and stop after reaching the end. I earn more money from randoms in same amount of time.

Dear Mr. Kellermann. You should try to play artillery in Frontline. Because artillery is the only one who has planes to spot. And this makes sense, because it is that way in reality too, right ? Planes and drones spot and the artillery shoots. Oh and by the way. Playing artillery in Frontline is way more relaxed and fun than playing a medium or heavy. Just play artillery and you will enjoy it. Only when you do the mop up damage you pick a fast medium or light 😋

i make credits almost every game in FrontLine But , I like to play RT , and most times I can play the entire game without being exploded If you are defending , there are mulitple positions that allows me to cover two zone bases , which gets me lots of credits I have made it to the rank of General a number of times I have fun playing this way , but I'm sure many players would find it a bit boring , but it works for me I finished this round of FrontLine in 3 days

Frontline is the most fun mode in game. Intense with clock. no 15-0 battles most often its a fight to the end. That you have no idea what you doin isent the game mode problem. You dont use your battle reserves and drive around like a chicken with no head

So if the rings around the caps are green than your defending. If the rings are red your attacking. I like FL because you can make millions of credits in that week. Just don’t use gold ammo. The objectives are the big guns at the end.

There should be a retake option of lost objectives like cap circles A-F. The 5 big coastal gun turrets could keep being assault targets. However there should be 5 big landing crafts on the beachhead, that the defenders could attack and destroy. Why not go into battle with all your tanks as a platoon with 4-5 in bot mode. On outer, inner, right and left flanks. Switch tank when your 1st forward tank dies. ⬅↖⬆↗➡

1st game you made 120.000 credits (+89k with booster) in 23 minutes. If we assume a Random game takes 5-6m, that's 30k credits per game - if you don't shoot a single GOLD round. I'd say that's pretty mediocre/average for making credits. What I hate most about this mode though is all the "Special Abilities" like getting spotted by airplanes and nuked by arty/airstrikes because not only are there 2 artys per team but also 15 players with additional arty skills. It is a complete shitshow for sure.

Claus, I think WOT is just trying to add some verity to the game. If someone doesn't like a certain offering they aren't compelled to take it. Think about it; we typically are playing the same maps and the same positions on those maps... one game blurs into the next over and over and over the same pattern. I commend WOT for at least trying to mix it up a little for us. Some people find security in just doing the same thing over and over.

First season of frontline man…was that 2018? It was simply beautiful. That first season for some reason mostly homo sapiens players played the mode and frontline i think still is the best thing this game offered to this day. Then i think dumbfucks discovered/heard the credit gains and mode completely fucked up.

I play SPG in Frontline, its the easiest and fastest way to get to general if you are on the defending team. Just bombard the enemy tanks trying to cap the base, you got TONS of points for stun and decap. 😄

I dont like frontline, but I'm playing it for the credits opportunity. I'm making 500k+ profit every game with credit boosters and battle payments. Ofc, playing only premium tanks and not spamming gold liiiiike a mofo. I managed to get to lvl 20 for the bonds and farmed about 15m in 2 days this weekend. So, although we dont like, we kindda need it.

oh ..one other comment .I absolutely hate the "twist of fate" thing they put in this mode.I feel that if you take the time to set up your tank you should be able to keep it instead of the powers to be get to decide what you get .Sometimes it works out but i like to control my own fate not have some one else dictate what i get.
