It is very rare for an attacker to get such a low rating. For example, if they miss an inordinate amount of chances, or miss a penalty, they should get a harsh chop-off on their final rating as scoring these chances is their job, and they failed. It's the same case with defenders and GK's. The last GK I saw get a rating of more than 9 was the Israeli GK against France when I just happened to click on the match. This was due to him preventing more than 1 xG. EDIT: After this, I checked the Feyenoord-Bayern game, and saw that the Feyenoord GK got MOTM by FotMob and UEFA with a 9.1 rating after preventing an astounding 2.42 xG and 1.66 xGOT (I do think this should be higher, probably around a 9.5 or so). Feyenoord had 20% possession in this game.

To be honest, the ref in that game was just pure garbage. One could argue that the decisions favored Barca or Befica but we cannot have victories in football that depend on the luck of the ref, no matter who the club is. Refs like these need to be cleansed from having oversight over such important matches as the UEFA Champions League.

Really m8? The first penalty was deserved, I doubt about the second one, but are you forgetting that in the Benfica penalty there was no contact? Besides, it was not 9 minutes added as such, it was only 4 and the red card was not for any Benfica player on the field but for Arthur Cabral WHO WAS ON THE BENCH. The refereeing was not the best (not to say it was garbage) and Barca were lucky to win the game after making so many mistakes, but it was not because the refereeing favored them.
