Trolling Cod in the Impoundment

In an impoundment, where the bite window might be 20minutes long when they feed in the shallows. Later you could be putting big chatter baits in their face down a stump or tree later morning and it still won't eat it. And I have seen it on live scope many times. Anything else is going to be a pretty opportunistic fish.
