Not even done watching this episode but have to tell you that this is my favorite episode so far since you returned. I have yet to catch my first wahoo, a S FL native who just hasn't had the luck or right conditions yet. Had a small boat in "my former life". Never hooked up. Looking at you putting those giants into the FULL coffin box. Oh yes!!!! One day... My life is about to change. My husband and I, married 2 years, a lifelong fisherman like me, are going to start living. Moving to where the Gulfstream is close to shore. Gonna semi-retire soon and retire for good in 2 years, and hope for my first wahoo. Gotta do it soon, before I'm not strong enough to bring it in. I've been following you guys for years and LOVE your show. You inspire and educate. Please keep your videos coming!!! Tight lines and catch 'em up!! :)

A full box of fish, it all starts with getting the bait. Great video guys.

Probably one of the most educational videos I have seen. Pretty cool to actually catch em on light tackle instead of high speeding.

Seen lots of monster wahoo caught on live mahi for bait. Remember one day when I observed a school of large wahoo decimate a school of 18-30" mahi that we had around our boat. Wahoo are extremely aggressive and will even feed on decent sized kingfish.

What a day! Great job Capt Steve getting ‘‘em on the fish! Conditions have been windy and the fishing slots are thin in the winter months. Would love to have an opportunity to fish with you sometime! I live in Big Pine Key so I’m not far. Do you target wahoo by high speed trolling as well? Love the live bait tactic! Absolutely awesome footage Tight lines Capt Tony

Had a 52lber this summer up off AC and I've caught shit of 20 to 30lb wahoo and that 52 fight so insane. My line was going off the port as the fish is screaming at 40mph way out the starboard side 😂😆😂. I was solo too in a 16ft aluminum 23 miles off AC

That happened to me twice, 50 miles out in gulf in 150 feet. I’ve found mahi but they were super finicky! I had a feeling it’s because when they’re that shallow they can also eat off the bottom so they aren’t starving like the Atlantic!

Putting part 1 in the previous episode title would have probably helped

Hey Caps one question, if I braid my 16 speedmaster 2 with power pro 65lb, what amount of mono(length and lb) should I attach to the braid in order to absorb some of the turbo strikes , and which knot would I use from braid to mono? will appreciate it, !!!
