Yes sir really agree with you when i said i was studing from the 50 case study book given by icai for practise every of my friend used to critise me ki koi ibs k lia 1 mahina padhta hai kya sir i was very tensed that time but i continued doing that since my grroup 1 was cleared in may 24 but sir i was able to write questions very nicely because of my prior practise but normally students just are wanting easy questions and sir still i would say i had practiced but sir paper was lenghthy no doubt at all and it was not so easy to cover it in that time even tough i knew mmaximum answers i was not able to solve it fully as lack of time and last thing sir pleaaaaase sir we need you to critisise such teachers who are promoting shortcuts it is very important sir they are ruining students life

@santanunayak4043 did I sell any course? Do self study, brother!! It's the amount of efforts you put in the subject to get the conceptual clarity matters... Not the amount of money you put in. Further, to do justice with the teachers who are charging higher.. let me be very clear on this... A teacher putting 100hours - 120 hours and charging 7,000 Vs. a person putting 300 hours - 350 hours (because the subject requires) and charging 20K.. don't you feel it is directly proportional? (I'm not saying that teachers can't charge lower fees) Further... to legend teachers like Praveen Sharma sir, Deepak Gupta sir.... I would request them to start face to face batches like 2013-14.. as F2F recordings are of far better quality in terms of knowledge transmission as compared to studio live/recordings)

Mr.Praveen Sharma ,I feel that various faculties are equally responsible for this mess, why faculties are running exam oriented batches ,why they are running marathons I qualified final group 1 in Nov 2007 at that time we had to struggle a lot for the right materials , most of the students referred ti study mat of icai for DT we referred to VG materials since at that time seats and resources of Parents were also Limited group of friends used to attend different subject classes and then pooled the knowledge we were conceptually strong at that time and there were Limited teachers who made us conceptually strong I attended your classes at Hindi Bhawan , my concepts in accounts are still strong , nowadays every Tom Dick and Harry ate taking smart classes and marathons so definitely there is no conceptual clarity in students, at our time we used to get practically only 20 hours btwn papers once we reached home after a paper to focus and revise for next one there was no 15 minutes of reading time, I recall VG used to take around 20 classes of 4 hrs each for the assessment procedures in those days now teaches complete is in 4 hours , so tali toh dono hatho se bajti hai

You are my idol sir.... But the paper was really out of the box... Questions which asked for 4-5 marks normally were asked in 2 marks mcqs... The total income of karanveer(DT) asked in paper for 5 marks which should be a minimum of 10 marks. That paper would take 6 hours to fully complete.

It was always like that. In 2016 I gave my IPCC tax paper and it I almost fell off my chair reading that. Still got passed with 45 marks. ICAI does it, nothing new. But how do you think you’re entitled to easy papers, or papers that aren’t lengthy. You aren’t expected to get 100 marks. If you just prioritise right questions and may be attempt 70-80% with accuracy, you’re good to go. In very tough papers, it could very well be 60%, but people still get passed somehow. At least I did.

Sir aapki baat bahut hadd tak sach aur sahi bhi hai. 3 hrs toh normally har exam mein likhne milta hai. Extra 1 hour hi mil raha aur usme humlog 5000+ pages ki 7 subjects le jaate hai wah dhundne mein time over hota hai. 2 imp things needed hai sir: 1) Correct choice of materials jo short n crisp ho. 2) Conceptual clarity in all atleast 5 subjects jo hum padh rahe

These students are given back up exam papers. To produce good quality papers require significant cost to paper setters. Back up papers are generally of repeat/wrong and erratic questions. Since community giving these exams is small, it works. I hope you got your answer.

Strongly accept the view you shared..but @praveensharma sir, problem is pattern of past attempts were so that we all assume that this is how we will qualify our paper , we students just made a calculative assumption and that's how we prepared not just us but almost all the facilities started producing and providing content like that. Faculty who got cleared (rankers) there CA exam with old pattern guided to go with that. All I can say is it was a bad luck.

Sir apne hame sikhaya ki pehle concept ache se padho and phir sum solve karo lekin sadly log aaj ye bolte hai ki sum pehle dekho and phir time mile toh concept dekh lena and isliye logo ka bantadhaar ho gya IBS paper mein. I used to follow your LMS and log bolte the ki mat follow kr kabhi pass nhi ho payega and exam mein I was behind time apne galti ke wajah se toh 80 ka hi attempt kr paya and 80 ka likh ke bhi 54 aaya wo bhi isliye qki I read the entire LMS thoroughly toh I was able to tackle new questions. Log chahte hai ki same questions puche jaye taki wo copy paste krke pass ho jaye qki unhone questions hi dekha hai, agar concept dekhte toh duniya ka koi bhi question itna difficult nhi lagta ki answer start bhi naa kar paye. CA student wo nhi jo repeat questions ki aas mein pass hona chahe balki wo hai jo ICAI ko challenge kre ki duniya ka koi bhi question de do, hm usko attempt krke dikhayenge and aisa challenge krne ke liye sum ratne ki nhi balki concept samajhne ki zarurat hai

Sir, आपकी बात उचित है... लेकिन मुझे ये लगता है कि ये IBS न हो के ABS (Aggregated Business Solution) हो गया... पहले 5 paper में हम हर subject का independent question तो solve कर ही रहे हैं और इसमें भी वही है फ़र्क इतना है कि हर MCQ और question के लिए Paragraph में search करना है। एक paragraph का दूसरे से कोई link नहीं...There is nothing like INTEGRATED rather its AGGREGATED. It should have been a case study which has to be resolved or may be asked the FR, AFM & tax, etc. implications. The paper was not tough but it was so lengthy that time passed away in such a manner that even knowing the question people had to tick MCQs on assumption basis b'coz first we had to search for the point in the para. And if this aggregation is to be done then why not independent paper for Law & Costing?

Pichli baar ka exam jaisa tha vaisi hi strategy leke jaate students... yaa toh first time se hi Aisa level rkhte exam ka... My group 2 is cleared before ibs but still I'm commenting because what you are saying is not appropriate... In the first attempt they copy pasted each thing and so many students just cleared the group because of that copy paste... And in the just next attempt they raised the level very much... They should introduce new questions but not to such a level which are not solvable in the first attempt as the students who appeared had time constraints.... Concepts are different things and dealing questions while having such pressure in the exam hall is different things... Either they should check the students concept in the exam, or just make the paper lengthy both things together are not manageable at all in the exam hall in such time....

Benefit of giving/ clearing a group is defeated by IBS paper, even if someone clears one group, he has to keep on revising concepts, also in real life situations, we have time, internet and seniors/ friend who have dealt with such situations. Sir , please help students IBS is unfair for students who have cleared Final group 1 in past . As it involves a lot of difficulty for them to study for this subject. Sorry sir but i kindly disagree with this, I cleared my Group 2 last year and before IBS there was elective paper, Me and my 1 Friend (Let's say Mr A) had selected "FSCM" and rest of my friends took "Eco Law" but ICAI asked FSCM out of the box while Eco law was easy because of which Me & Mr A failed due to aggregate and rest of my friends passed 😢 literally this costed us 6 Months, this FSCM and IBS incident literally proves that "ICAI doesn't care about its student" Also one of my eco law friend got 72 and aggregate was exact 200 she got 40 to 45 marks in rest 3 papers literally she cleared just because of eco law

Honestly sir; in the new scheme it has become comparatively easy to clear exams. 5 subjects reh gye hai literally. Costing band bja deti thi jab 100 marks ka paper aata tha. Mcq hogya 30 number ka paper kam hogye; aur kya chahiye yr. only people I believe are actually stuck are the people who cleared group 1 earlier and now are stuck because of IBS

I think icai needs to streamline the ibs paper. They need to provide selective topics from each subject so that there is a guideline to study with.Ask questions from those selected topics. That would be the right way to go about. This is a good paper though but needs fine tuning in the due course.

As a young CA with 5 years experience, i fully support this exam & way of teaching of CA Praveen Sharma sir. This we do in practical life. New aspirants donot know about ISCA subject challenges which got replaced by IBS.

I am one of those who has studied ISCA and cleared group 2.....if u think that ISCA had no relevance then u are completely wrong.....ask those who are into systems audit. On the other hand IBS doesn't makes any sense as it is combination of all subjects

It was always like that. In 2016 I gave my IPCC tax paper and it I almost fell off my chair reading that. Still got passed with 45 marks. ICAI does it, nothing new. But how do you think you’re entitled to easy papers, or papers that aren’t lengthy. You aren’t expected to get 100 marks. If you just prioritise right questions and may be attempt 70-80% with accuracy, you’re good to go. In very tough papers, it could very well be 60%, but people still get passed somehow. At least I did.

Sir there was a wrong question in IBS, the standard costing question because they have not provided the actual hours and there is no way of determining the same instead of taking absurd assumptions. They have just said that the actual units are 3600 and rate per hour is 25. They have provided revised standard hours which is not actual hours and just standard hours. Theres a similar question in the institute material for SPOM. However actual hours were provided in that question.
