Since I gave only the 2nd group My strategy was simple I had intuition that none of the questions will be repeated So I didn't waste my time in searching for repeated questions (With the logic that if any question was repeated I'll get to know by looking at others) Instead what I did was tallying dt and idt marks in each case study and attempting the case study which has most dt idt marks and finish those questions first and then attempt the remaining Which I think was successful Because I attempted all the DT idt and was also able to attempt upto 70 marks out of 100

I cleared my 1st group in Nov19, couldn't attempt for 2nd group for various personal reasons, i gave exams in last attempt and got 136 and gone in aggregate, this time around dt and idt was manageable, but iam going mad with ibs, if this is the level of difficulty, those who have passed the 1st group need to preapre for whole 7 subjects, just because of ibs, its senseless and shows the brutality of the institute. They should have kept elective options as it was in earlier scheme. Ibs is not a value addition in anyway. Doesn't make any sense, course will lose it's popularity.

It takes 3hrs to solve MCqs and yaa it's beyond our expectation. Many renowned faculties said tumlog padhte nhi ho islye tough laga but akbar ak student ke najar se soch dekho jisne law and cost online diya ho wo kaise dhundega ki law ka ans kha se milega islye tough tha ye time manage nhi ho paya waha bilkul.

I finished spom before exam and i was able to attend questions without any issues. IBS ka tip ye he ki saree subjects ache se karo fir tum g1 and g2 sath me likhe tabhi he easy hoga warna nahi.

i was planning to do selective prep for inter but this video is an eye opener Im not gonna leave Marginal or standard cost , so 100% prep it is at worst itll take me 3 more months to get the other group right but seems like detailed justice is required to clear the papers so I wouldnt want to take a chance in finals

I have given ibs exam and what I felt is icai wants conceptual clarity in all subjects... agar kisi ne ek topic mein articleship kiya hai toh he can do that subject well...lekhin saare subject mein even a ca cant give expert level knowledge in that exam...

We in jharkhand had the IBS exam yesterday i.e. 14th Nov due to elections, All the five case studies had mostly questions from FR, AFM, AUDIT, no question from scmpe, very few from law and idt, and some from dt. A 5-8 mark question was asked 2-2.5 marks.

Question bank ka index makes no sense when prepared for both groups but concept ka index is very much needed Also sir thanks for ur concept clarity pointers after each respective topic which have added value to the answers in IBS as well

Unfair on your part to be honest. 10 years means you'll have to study the entire IND AS course again. These are all ways to make the exam artificially difficult

I'd suggest not to go forward...let's keep a side tat u have to study financial reporting again freshly, but nowadays ICAI have some other plans of failing students. Soo whatever u r now , u be happy and don't fall into this volcano 🌋. Thank you ❤

@@mahimamalhotra1204 I would rather suggest to take a break, take sometime, study FR and come back. You have cleared CA Final 1 grp which means you already have immense time and hard work invested. Don't waste it. And group 2 was always easier than grp 1. It's only 1 IBS which made it difficult. If u manage to tackle this, you'll have this degree for life

I think so much of the lengthy syllabus cannot be remains in the brain 🧠 I think one needs to meditate for 10 to 15 minutes which then can increase the capacity of your brain to hold the syllabus bhramakumaris rajyoga meditation is the best this meditation makes your mind like a super power.. Memory, determination level ,IQ ,EQ , accuracy,concentration are the Main advantage of it to get an AIR I practice every day sister Shivani meditation and helping me a lot

There ia difference between studying Law and cost for main paper and for spom paper spom toh itna laatu dete hai ki subha utho paper dene jao tubka lagao pass ho jayoge.1 attempt lagega jada se jada.

1. Focus on Question Banks 2. Give a lot of focus on Law and Costing 3. Be Crucial with your 1.5 days prep, and priorities with law and cost (before other subject) and above all super conceptual clarity on all the subjects is necessary....

totally wrong buddy. Question bank gaya teel lene First Half (up to 1.5-2 hours) finish all MCQ of 5 Qs (including Option) Second Half (balance hours) eliminate least confident MCQ (I eliminated Q2) then solve all remaining descriptive Questions from easy to hard using Concept notes.

There is no guarantee that law and cost weightage will again be more in exam. ICAI shuffle with weighted in every attempt but yes law and cost should be given importance like other subjects.

Nazar 🧿 bhai, hope sir private this video till results are released. Because I know ICAI mai kitna lobby hota hai Air 50 ranks ke liye, aur ye to Air 1 hai, they will be loosing their sh*t right now. It's stupid to think sirf mai hushar/ mehnat kiya hai. There are minimum 5k students who write merit rankers lvl paper, but only 50 get it. Baki logo ka kya hota hai, wo unko hi pata hai.

Students who think SPOM ke classes dek ke IBS ukad lunga, then forget it. Even inter ke Air 1 se nahi huwa wo do costing ke questions. Such questions can only be solved by old schools method, step 1 understand the concept & step 2 solve QB/ SM self. Step 3 repeat till you can reduce the cycle time. So that's impractical now. So just focus on other subjects to score more. IBS is the new Audit, i guess, for group 2.

Sir Overall paper was tough and lengthy even MCQ were not straight forward it required calculation and provisional knowledge and critical thinking. Asking students to solve this paper in 4 hr is bullshit. Every CCM/RCM candidate participating in upcoming elections half of them will not be able to clear it.

Well I agree to some things he said and disagree to some . I have given the paper and it was my second attempt. I got 48 in 1st attempt but this was twice as easier than the first attempt. The reason why everyone is saying it was toughest is because so many students gave it for the first time and never really practiced it and went in with the assumption that they'll find things from the material. In May 24 we didn't go with any such assumptions and expected all possibilities. It's fault on part of students. Paper of Nov 24 was at par with May 24

Bhai pls… mera bi may24 mein first attempt and just like you meko bi ibs mein 48 marks aye hai… And woh paper bohot hi easy tha like you can literally get the whole sums from module… and this was not at all easy… I was literally regretting about ki mere may,24 mein 2 marks aa jaate toh mera group nikal jata aur esa paper nahi dekhna padta mereko

@@shanepaul1116 I'm not misguiding, i just saying what i experienced. Questions were from module only , but definitely not straight forward. You only had to apply 1% of additional brain to solve them by seeing similar questions. Anyway i could find 52/60 marks from study mat, Case study compilation and concept books . So if I can everyone could have . I'm just an avg student . Trust me many students have wrongly approached the subject. And they'll know that when they will give there second attempt

A frank review of the ca final ibs exam. 1) These are not case studies. These seperate questions asked in exam clubbed together to dupe students. 2) The paper setter was very lazy to set paper and he just bring in different topics to old cases. 3) Cases dont make students to think analize the scenario and the inference from which the question is asked. If student is able to tell from which page or topic the question is asked then its not case study questions then its an exam question. 4) Case studies provide a scenario and student has to think and decifer the correct awnser which can change based on the logic if the student. The costing SPOM paper had better case study which demanded the in depth knowledge and application. 5) The paper was a ver lazy approach of examiner to ask the questions. I will give a 4 out of 10. Not a CA final level paper. Examination board should not focus on bringing the results down or making things tough for stundents by throwing a googly suddenly after some straight balls. Rather they should focus on getting CA who are able to decifer and decide the best decision in any scenario.
