Thanks for the support. Aliex and I just enjoy pushing the boundaries of small watercraft and kayaks. Greatly owe our successes to our viewers. Without you we wouldn't be able to accomplish much. *THANKS*

I use Auto Boat attached to Watersnake 24T with Hobie PA 14 (inside pedal drive well) for more than month now. Very happy with it.

So it works with the watersnake!

Oh he definitely did that. If a company's product survives Aliex...I instantly feel more confident. HAHA. Heck I barely survived his crazy driving. *LMAO*

Love that Kaku but I want to see the AUTOBOAT on the stern of the Vibe inflatable. You could deflate and toss that set up in your truck and be able to fish whenever the mood strikes you. So many options with this thing.

I thought it might be too sketchy. My search for a powered, durable inflatable yak continues then. You were just near me when you were hanging with Justin.

Hey Aliex, you need to set the AutoBoat on the bow of your U10. I’m curious of the weight difference between this and the Motorguide xi3. Do the transom mounts work well as bow mounts? I think the AutoBoat is in my future. I like the app feature set. 👍

I have 2 kayaks, one with a Watersnake, and the other has the Bixpy. Will the Auto boat work with either one of those setups?
@AliexFolgueira7 ай бұрын
it can potentially work with the watersnake, i will try it, with the bixpy no.
@audioeeze83967 ай бұрын
@@AliexFolgueira Thank you for the reply. I kinda expected it not to work on my Bixpy setup considering how the Bixpy is wired. Would love you to try it on the Watersnake. I am sure there are alot of us that could benefit from a video. Hint , hint.
@audioeeze83967 ай бұрын
I should probably add that my Watersnake is mounted on the mid, right side. It's is not stern or bow mounted. hopefully this information could be significant in a future video.

Watersnake shaft diameter is bit too small. That is why the motor isn’t listed on compatibility list. There is a AutoBoat motor compatibility list on TBNation website.

Aliex, I’ve watched you on and off for a few years now. But I recently got back to your channel because I’m getting back into kayak fishing with my daughter. I own 2 old yaks, an old ride 135, and an ocean Kayak x-factor. These yaks are great and the motors still work(me)😂. I’ve always wanted to buy me a new yak, back in the day I wanted a Jackson so bad. But I’m coming to you for help. You to me are very unbias you try out so many yaks. You try to be as honest as possible. So with that said can you help me make my next huge decision. I can buy a PA 12 with the 180. Used for 2000$ Or a new old town 120 peddle drive. Is there one else you would recommend? I don’t know much about the new ones. But I’m trying not to spend an arm and leg. Would it be better to buy a paddle old town pdl 120 and add a motor eventually? What do you recommend?
@jaredrobertson19557 ай бұрын
I really want a platform I can stand and fish without feeling unstable.
@AliexFolgueira7 ай бұрын
so the hobie pa have incredible primary stability, but secundary, when you lean too much while seating down it can't compete with the 120 PDL second thing to consider is warranty, a new boat will give you 5 years warranty on the drive and lifetime on the hull, while the hobie being used has no warranty. both kayaks you can add motors eventually but, the hobie pa may be easier to rig up with a motor. hobie fin drives are easier to use in shallwo and grassy areas. my vote? i can't recommend an used hobie kayak that was made from feb 2020 till now. why? too many hull issues, and no warranty.
