I raced a camaro ss with my NA b16 swapped ej civic coupe. He was about 10 car lengths ahead of me when I was going into 5th gear. Yea he smoked me, but I was proud to hang with him as well as I did. For a while after that most other cars I lined up with I had much higher expectations because I already tried against much more power. Its just a machine its not like you got beat up in front of your boys

Main thing to check is valve lash etc. If you've been setup for while,it'll be off; esp exhaust side. I've seen 80whp get picked up with a valve adjustment,on a previously well tuned car with a cpl years abuse.

Man would love to hook up the supercharger you have on my 2018 HR-V 1.8L. I’d keep mine as sleeper looking too as your Si and surprise some tuner and muscle car drivers! No one would think a stock looking HR-V could gap them! Keep up the work on your car and your great videos! Honda power baby!

Keep dreaming 😂 the R18 could probably handle a few pounds of boost but your CVT is made of glass. Unless you have a manual which are very hard to find, you still have the problem of the fact there is no demand for a tuning solution so you'd have to diy a piggyback to tune and theres little to no off the shelf ANYTHING. Keep in mind the R18 has been around 15 years now and there are still no solutions. Buy a different car.

As an owner of a 2022 HR-V, don’t do it, lol. The R18 was never designed for ANY performance oriented things. It’s an economy engine for reliability and simplicity. That, and the CVT won’t be able to handle the added strain with any type of boost. Get a different car or add another car to what you already have for performance oriented purposes.

Bought my wife a 2020 civic si. Purchased new in May of 2020. My first cat was a 88 crx si also had a 91 civic hatch si. My wife's last car was a 05 accord sedan with the k24 and 5 speed manual. That model year accord was probably the most reliable and cost effective vehicle that has ever been made. I wish we kept it. We owned it for 14 years before we got the 2020. I don't feel like the new Hondas are nearly as reliable. Just my opinion.

Nice Honda ,but there is not a lot of cars that can troll Shelby Super Snake ,or even just GT500 ,that is minimum 660HP and 880 for Super Snake :D they are called Straight line Rocket for a reason ,I have 2007 V8 Mustang GT ,acceleration is nuts with just 305HP :D
