Blimey Andy mate I can’t imagine how wonderful that must be listening to the birds singing first thing in such a beautiful place absolutely wonderful and some cracking fish that 94 👌😇! I went to a Place called Bodmin Moore in Cornwall yesterday and got stuck in a snow storm for hours it was mad but alls good . Breakfast looked superb 😋 take it easy out there 😜🎣👍

Enjoyed that one Andy. I don’t believe it you actually caught the mother fish. I thought they were extremely rare to catch haha. I got a nice blue salmon and a queenie this morning off the beach. I made a little queen fish sashimi with soy sauce and wasabi at lunch time geez that was nice. Had salmon and chips for tea 😊🐠🎣

No worries Andy. I just didn’t link the two together. Access to the Finnis has certainly changed since I was out that way about 50 years ago, but it’s still holding great fish and is still beautiful.

Spearing a barra back into the water doesn't make up for the extended time out of the water and conveniently hides the fish's condition. A lot of these fish would take a while to recover after having 25 photos and 7 different video angles taken of them. And I don't know how people think that spearing the fish back into the water is some sort of magical CPR procedure? If we had been held under water for a couple of minutes we would need a big breath but shoving an air compressor hose down our throats doesn't help. Love the content and releasing the fish back getting the fish back 30 seconds quicker would make a huge difference

Think you're being a bit harsh there mate, never seen one of Andy's fish floating after release and spearing them does send a heap of water through their gills to help them recover and it's a damn lot safer than swimming them. If you're in the Top End and fish for Barra you'd know this anyway. Great stuff Andy, I bet there were a few envious boaters on the river watching you drag them in from the middle. Cheers fella
