Chef would be revealed to still be alive and now works as a troll poacher; basically selling trolls on the black market like illegal drugs. (Unfortunately Creek was eaten by her.) Floyd got caught in a trap she put out in the forest and was then sold to Velvet and Veneer. If she can’t cook trolls to be served up and bergens don’t eat trolls anymore, she must result to being a troll dealer. (Sometimes, she eats the trolls she captured.)

I actually liked the idea of Velvet and Veneer being Bergens, It could've opened a lot of opportunities for plot progressions, like them being the Niece and Nephew of Chef, who instead of wanting to eat the Trolls for they're happiness, they want to take away Trolls talent to become superstars. And it could've also revealed that Creek was still alive, and helping Velvet and Veneer by helping Kidnap Floyd, probably in the same way he lead the trolls to get captured by Chef. I mean, don't get me wrong. I like Velvet and Veneers designs, they're the most unique I've scene in a troll movie. But they don't really look like they belong in a Troll movie.

I swear I love story boards! Getting to see the ideas compiling together and learning the ideas of the artist is really awesome to see! And while sometimes most ideas change or is kept the same the story will still keep something clear I love with trolls 3 the idea of how trolls have so many properties! And no matter if they’re eaten or used as a captive magical perfume, trolls ability of happiness, natural talent and heart is something that’s only to them. Seeing Veneer still having a bit of a soft spot shows is really good since he mostly changed because he was told to by his sister and glad they still showed that in the movie in a form. I think it’s interesting how one of the song ideas was applause which really does fit the ideas of the villains of trolls 3

Love this concept and idea so much more, it gives more depth in my opinion. The assistant makes sense and actually has a part that isn’t random, the burgons have all actually heard that trolls are accepted but don’t care, and the twins have more depth as to who they are rather than just “I am bratty and bossy sister” and “I am submissive and slightly less bossy brother who is kind of good”. And applause makes soooo much more sense. Movie still good just wish dreamworks would have let them flesh out the characters more rather than just get an okay/good movie with a lot of cash grab

I love the sequence with velvet grabbing the curtains and swinging the fabric around! And that nice transition from the curtain wave to her with the perfume bottle is awesome. Not that I hate the crew decision on making the V's Noodle-Folk (If anything it was a surprise to see more humanoid species in the trolls universe), but something about them being Bergens(?) just felt Reasonable and Organic; plus they look fine af. It also would've fit the subplot with Viva more (I think). Also, the V's should've been a bigger (possibly 5 member) group, influenced by real life family bands like the jackson 5.

this is soo awesome, it was a bit of a downer to watch the actual movie and see that they didn't go with this. the execution, the plot exposition via song, the bombastic posing and visuals w the hair scarf and cameras, the cut to it just being a troll essence-riddled song number-- its so perfect. so succinct and electric compared to what the movie did. hope to see more of your work and hope this gets plenty of recognition.
