bts diss track(s) actually does kind of exist but not in the traditional direct western hip-hop way I would say. a clear one is to b-free in cypher pt.2 (though the song wasn't all about him) and a lesser known predebut song called "hook" against brave brothers. there's also the 2015 mama fight off against bobby from ikon but that's quite sterile for a proper diss imo. most of the other diss tracks bts make is indirect and has the motto of "if you are offended, it's meant for you", though they do that really well. i esp like the rapper line's albums for that reason lol I like the drama. but I do get what you mean, kpop idols aren't allowed to get too messy. a drake vs kendrick in kpop would be crazy i'd be eating it up lol

BTS actually did do a disstrack: cypher pt 2! It was against a Korean rapper named B-Free who was an asshole to the rapline in an interview. Knowing the context really changes the meaning of a lot of the lyrics (ex: "Just go to Hawaii" references the fact that B-Free is actually from Hawaii)

if you think there arent any diss tracks from idols you are still early in your kpop/korean music journey. BTS rap line has diss tracks. So theres cyphers 1- 4; cypher 1 is just talking about people in general no specific groups or person but 2 & 3 are specifically talkin at/about someone (korean american rapper bfree from hawaii ) while 4 is more of i dont care about u hater no more. For more info on why they dissed him look up bts bfree its like a 15 min video with RM & Suga & some other dudes in the thumbnail. Rm & Suga were invited to like this rapper/underground rapper interview party thing with other korean rappers who are older than them. Also theres technically a 5th cypher but its not labeled as a cypher but we count it as one of them its called Ddaeng or 땡 (pronounced Dang)(if you do a reaction to this song its best to also watch the explained version by DKDKTV.

True, actually forgot about the rapline Cyphers. I have reacted to them, just slipped my mind lol. I still wouldn't compare those diss tracks to what you get from american rappers though which is what I was referring to in the video. When I say diss tracks, I mean Kendrick vs Drake, Eminem vs Benzino, Ice Cube vs NWA, Tupac and Biggie, you know some real gritty, absolutely vile diss tracks, like some actual dangerous beef. Which I know is something that will never happen because to quote Eminem, most kpop idols are the very definition of "His name his Clarence, and Clarence lives at home with both parents, and Clarence's parents have a real good marriage".
