Gosh their blend is perfect. In many recordings I find the tenor 1 sticking out too much and the bass trombone and lower tenor parts being underrepresented, but their balance and blend is just spot on. All the best parts of each trombone!

It is. If you go on IMSLP you can find the entire original Opera score and you can find the excerpt. It’s at the beginning of Act III of Die Walküre

Hey just a suggestion but imslp has a lot of these parts in full, including the score so maybe you could do a little cut and paste from there in the future? Just a suggestion tho, thank you for all the content!

I referenced exactly what I found on IMSLP opposite what I found on trombone excerpts.org
