As one-time SalesManager for Selmer, which included Bach, I had the privilege to walk through the manufacturing plant numerous times and see, at that time, the best Trumpets made. I was also a pretty fair trumpet player, a fact which few know about today. Great memories!

My Bach Stradivarius B flat Trumpet has a medium large bore, with a first valve, spring loaded trigger, that I bought in 1976 for 450 bucks. I just retired, 62, picked it back up, and now practicing daily as respiratory therapy, as well.

I just sold a 1960 Bach. Best trumpet made in my opinion.You guys are artist . Every brace and weld effects the sound,even the new lacquer . Thanks

oui , c est toujours des chalenges différents ! vous utilisez quoi comme brasure ? de l argent ou de l étain ? ça m aurai plus ce métier , mais a la place je suis aller a la fac et aux beaux arts ... résultat , pas de métier !!

frederic thom ok...effectivement dommage d'aller en fac sans y trouver son compte. J'utilise de brasure étain au plomb 190 degrés, étain avec 3% d'argent 230 degrés et argent env 600 degrés.

Hi Vincent would you be able to take a badly made Indian pocket trumpet and restore it and make it play well? I was given one by my nephews and its a nightmare. bad slotting, bad intonation hard to play etc
