Thanks for sharing. On my visit to Tromsø in August 2023 we took the bus. Instead of hiking up we walked the village road from one end to the other. It´s unfortunate you did not see the beaustiful cascading waterfall at the western end of the village. We had our lunch by the waterfall. Two raindeer passed us on the bridge over the creek. We also saw reindeer resting on the beach. You must go back.

BTW I am traveling to Japan within a few weeks for 2 weeks. Will be visiting Tokyo, Sendai (Lemi recommendation) Aomori and Yokohama 😀
