Micheal Sheen literally steals every scene, and every movie that he's in. Christ, he's such an underrated actor.
@jonathonpolk35924 жыл бұрын
More accurately, the meaning of language changes over time. Its a social construct, a shared set of symbols used to convey meaning, and it shifts whenever the shared meaning attributed to those symbols changes. "Literally" used to mean something different than it currently does, which includes "metaphorically" (and often "figuratively") in its current usage. Now it may be stupid or silly in your estimation to use words with diametrically opposing usages, but that's language for you. Many words have contradictory or inconsistent possible meanings, especially in the convoluted English language. Its why context is everything when it comes to interpreting language; without context, you would have no way of knowing which of the various meanings the speaker was trying to convey. In other words, it is fine to use "Literally" the way the OP meant, as long as the context didnt create ambiguity over which meaning was intended. In this case, there is no reasonable way to think that the OP meant the actor was driving around stealing physical scenes in films, as that would be "Literally" impossible. So quit bitching.

I was totally getting a strong David Bowie vibe from his face, hair, and the way he talks

I was really hoping that it would turn out that Zuse had put a virus into the ring-thing before he gave it to evil Jeff Bridges, so that when he created his clone army it would go haywire and he could be defeated. Thus Zuse/Castor would have been a noble, self-sacrificing character instead of the totally pointless dickwad he turned out to be. Not to mention, since Zuse/Castor ends up being a total jerk, what does that make Quorra? She's the one who insisted the hero meet with him! It makes her look foolish too.

Zuse used to believe in the Users. He became ... disenchanted with them after the wars. Quorra hadn't contacted him in years and so didn't know he'd become embittered towards humans. I think Tron Legacy did a fine job of understated world-building. It doesn't throw you right in the middle of a political war between the programs and the Corrupted, but masterfully hints at its lasting repercussions...through Zuse, Quorra, and other characters.

Man, that would be amazing, in a very good turn of events! In one point i hoped something like that would happen. Not only Zuse would have uploaded a bug into Flynn's disk, but that bug would somewhat heal Rinzler/Tron once he would touch the disc, and disable Clu's Rectifing Program, and then saved Sam and betrayed Clu. But in the movie it felt to much Deus Ex.

@@datdumbdude4126 Also,Zuse,the Sirens and Quorra were the last surviving ISOs,Quorra believed in Tron`s uprising and Flynn`s survival but the others weren`t so sure and knew of CLU`s pathological hatred for them so out of fear tried to cooperate with CLU`s Occupation even if it meant selling out their own kind, foolishly believing that such actions would prompt CLU to be merciful towards them!It`s very similar to how historically some Jews and Romani in Germany sold out their own family and friends to the Nazis,foolishly believing Hitler wouldn`t extend his Final Solution to them if they cooperated with Nazi policy!

I know everyone is raving about Michael Sheen and his performance as Zuse But - CLU is so much more powerful here, Zuse is scared and shitting himself He's making a funny show to stay steady, but he knows he's going to die The character of Zuse yields to the true power of the grid, CLU
