No pre show is most likely to get more riders through.. they missed a massive opportunity to make this more like the movie by adding a 2nd track and turning it into a racing coaster with red and blue teams would have also made it even higher capacity..Disneys practice of up charging everything is the main reason I’m in no rush to visit.

I agree, it could have been like the Racers at King's Island in Ohio where they run two different teams at the same time and you get to ride next to each other for some parts. You actually race on there and each time, you don't know who will win. This ride could have been executed better for sure but damn is it beautiful to look at lmao

To put it quite simply WOW! This one of the most stunning rollercoasters out there. The light show in the build up to the ride is brilliant and the ride itself is worth the entrance fee alone. So glad you both got to ride this again...

loved it. Had 2 day rides and 2 night rides over 2 week period. 2 of these were lightning lanes for 3 people worked out so expensive but only way we could ride at night. Really wish it was a longer ride with one more launch that would make it one of the best

We rode this twice (a day ride and a night ride) back in April - a couple of weeks after it had opened. As a ride, very short and a little underwhelming given how incredible it looks. But its a great spectacle and the theming really makes it. As Disney coasters go, for my money, Guardians at Epcot blows this out of the water, but its a much needed addition to Magic Kingdom and well worth a ride if you get the chance. Great video once again!

Totally agree with the lightning lane cost just to ride at night. More money making by Disney. Nice bit of Disney Magic to end the video with. The ride is totally different in the dark.

8:47 A lot of the queue is outside and not in the aircon though. I would say about half the time we spent queuing for Tron was outside. And we queued for almost an hour (that was after the virtual queue time). 10:48 And a pity you missed the big reveal there where the screen turns transparent and you see the ride.

After that initial launch the ride is kinda like a cruisin thrill. Like I said Disney isn’t a thrill park. Space Mountain is probably the most thrilling ride at Magic Kingdom but there is a cool hidden experience on the train check it out where you go under the Tron Ride and there is a radio interference let’s just say. Seven Dwarfs Mine coaster is a bit like big Thunder but slower and I don’t really get the swaying barrel seats you really don’t notice that while riding it. Let me know what you think.

I wish I had got to see it at night. Back in May I wish they would just make rides like they used to be just stand and que for it . Nice video, really enjoyed and loved. Love the lights and especially love the mirror effect when coaster goes round corner with mirrors in show building with red lights, make it look like your racing Red Team. Nice effect there, loved the lighting in the outside section & love the interaction you get with guests on trains and people walking along pathways. Would 100% like to see one built at Disneyland Resort Paris in either Discovery land or via a new created land in WDS / Walt Disney Studios? Or could be different & have it come off Disney Village in a futuristic area with food, shops and have it as its own themed area outside Disney Paris Parks? Be unique & different? But nice new addition & a coaster would 100% be up to riding & experiencing on one day. Cheers for both comparisons both night ride & day. By the way, what's the chances of Towers getting something like this, but not Tron. But something unique & original? Any chances? Wouldn't mind seeing a bike coaster like this at Alton Towers Resort, very unlikely to happen I think? But do you think could be a possible? As its an epic coaster and think either Towers or one Merlin Park would benefit from something on this scale? Cheers again. 😀👍

Not sure if you said but the music is from the Tron: Legacy soundtrack which was done by Daft Punk 😊 One of my all time favourite soundtracks and you can spot Daft Punk in the film in the club scene. Lightning lane always makes me twitchy as a concept but have to admit I would happily pay for a night ride. Looks incredible!

The ride looks great, especially the lighting, and has the best futuristic theme I've ever seen. I'm not sure if Vekoma's newer bike coasters are LIM or LSM (presumably not hydraulic?) but it would be good if there was a longer, multi-launch version. I must be honest, I think once you've paid to enter a park you should be able to join the normal queue as many times as you like.

I'm really surprised that you kept saying how short the ride is. . From launch to end, it's exactly 60 seconds -- that's a LOT longer than most of our rides in the UK. As I recall, Nemesis is only about 30 seconds after the lifthill.

We did Tron 6 times on our recent holiday- 5 in the dark and 1 in the day. I would say this - if you are only going to ride this once then ride it at the back in the evening/dark. The back is not only a little more intense, it's actually better visually as all the bikes light up and it just adds to the whole Tron vibe - at the front that is all behind you. The only benefit of the front is that there's nobody in front, but while on most rides that's an advantage, on Tron you almost need to see the other bikes to get into the vibe. If you're going to ride this twice I would say do it once at night at the very back row (but on a bike, not the chairs) amd then once in the day at the front.

Shawn / Charlotte … are you able to give some advice on how to get a lightning lane on Tron, particularly during the evening of Mickies Not So Scary Halloween Party. I’m starting to think there’s a chance I may not even get to ride this epic coaster when I’m there next month. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated 👍🏻

If you want a paid LL+ for Tron you can do it from 7am each and every day- and you pick your time, so you can guarantee a night ride. If you don't want to pay then you need to go down the Virtual Queue route which you have either the 7am or the 1pm drop...if you're staying on property you can grab a VQ at 7am, if not its when the park opens...the 1pm drop you need to have scanned in at the park to get in the queue...during Mickeys Not So Scary there is a 6pm drop. Just remember,if you want to get a VQ get logged on and ready 2 or 3 minutes before the drop somyou can click it BANG ON the time. The drops for Tron can last just a matter of seconds so be ready and get in quick. Just to clarify, there is no stand by queue so VQ and LL+ are your only options.

Great Video. You can actually ride it twice a day, we did that a couple if times - get yourself a Virtual Queue and then also pay for an LL+ ($20+ tax). It's a great addition and brilliant visual treat, but it isn't comparable to Guardians, which imho is a much better ride.

I don't agree with it at all, but on our 3 week trip we just felt paying for Tron and Guardians just made the days easier to plan.
