I've only been on the one in Shanghai but it isn't as bad as you might think. From memory, as long as you let the seat hold you in the position (I.e. try not to lift your neck/back upwards) you will be ok. I remember being more worried my phone would fall out of the container 😆

We rode it yesterday: the metal bar didn’t even touch my legs but I could feel it if I lifted my leg. The circle thing on the back cover gives you the ability to lean up a little bit. It is definitely worth the wait tho.

@@thatrandomkirbO I find this very hard to believe. #1 your back restraint didnt come off. the back restraint is meant to be able to move positions, even when you're locked in. it makes it so you can sort of sit up more instead of just leaning down. #2 the "ankle things" are meant to move as well. wdym they "barely worked". #3 how did the workers not care abt your experience? disney workers are literally the nicest people on the planet, being mean literally gets them fired

It is mostly just the majority of Disney park goers are weak, addled with issues, and delicate beyond belief. I have never really ever felt even 1/6th of the discomfort found at the other world class parks like Universal, Phantasialand, Dollywood, Knotts, Europa Park, Alton Towers, Six Flags, Cedar, seaworld, busch gardens, etc.

Exactly! It’s such a fun way to ride a rollercoaster, I realized I could actually just grip to the “motorcycle” with my legs and have my arms free and up 😂 personally I found that aspect very comfortable.

I’m 7 and I went on this, man this was my first ever time riding roller coasters, as you can guess I have the fear of roller coasters. Going on this made me scream, for those people are gonna ride that are younger or the same age as me, your gonna need someone’s hand to hold on this roller coaster. I’ve never screamed that much times before, btw if your not 48 inches tall you can NOT go on this roller coaster. I honestly think that this should be at universal studios. This should be the roller coaster you go on if your trying to face your fear of roller coasters. For me, just by watching povs of this roller coaster, my heartbeat still beats faster then normal. But really once you get done riding an roller coaster, you wanna go on it over and over again. If your still reading this, thank you a lot. Hopefully I made you wanna ride roller coasters now!! ❤🎉

Its a fun ride. I think this is one of my favorite ride and I have motion sickness but because its fast and smooth I barely feel anything. Also, it helps to look at where its heading than closing your eyes and look down.

Of course once Americans get a version of these roller coasters they instantly have problems. Rode it 2 days ago and I think it was perfect, just wish the ride was longer. The seats were plenty comfortable, obviously it’s not like floating on a cloud but it’s a roller coaster… and especially as a motorcycle, this is the most comfortable, best design to accommodate the most amount of people while still remaining to be safe. the metal bar by your knees was no problem for me it’s there just to keep your legs in place because humans are dumb and will stick their legs out of a moving vehicle, there’s no padding on them or anything because they don’t press on you during the ride, my back didn’t hurt at all, the back restraint is so wide that the force is spread out a good amount, actually felt a lot better than a normal roller coaster where your spine gets compressed and extended multiple times by sitting vertically. And the handlebars have a nice feel to them but you can ride the ride with your hands up the whole time if you want. But again if your body shape has a hard time in the test seat you can request to sit in the accommodating seats, they’re just normal coaster seats. But the feeling of riding a motorcycle makes it an amazing experience for a roller coaster.

I road it last Sunday. I’m 6’1” and just under 300lbs and I was able to ride it. I was very uncomfortable until the launch because I didn’t get situated correctly before they locked me in. My legs were being badly pinched just above my knees. It was a great experience tho

Bro this ride was awesome and the seats are not uncomfortable at all. Use your judgement and don’t smash yourself into the seat; you have the control over how tight the seat is to you barring there isn’t too much space because you have to be safe. ❤

Rode it today, and will say it’s worth it for anyone to just try it at least once for yourself… either you end up liking the ride as a whole or not there are test seats at the attraction entrance, tho the rides fun I’d say the seats are a fitting design but uncomfortable and not for everyone it’s comparison to flight of passage seats in the way your positioned.

This attraction and Flight of Passage are the only two attractions at Disney that worry me; not because of the thrill aspect but because of the coasters themselves. I am a mid sized to big guy with thick thighs and thick calves and if I am going to ride a new thrill ride, I want to ride it like it was intended to be ridden.

I rode this earlier today. I had an amazing time. The cycle seat was comfortable for my body type. My thighs caught on the seat a lil but not enough to be bothersome. But I can see how this could be uncomfortable and even painful for some people. But however I love it. It’s probably my new favorite ride. The queue is so immersive! And the music is sick. but also I might just love the movie to much. Anyways I’m only 10 boarding groups away from getting on again. So imma just say, I love this ride and if you love the movie you’ll probably love the ride. :)

I have returned from Disney world and rode all the main roller coasters including this one. It’s tame compared with some and not too scary. I found the seating position comfortable. The only bit that I didn’t like were the metal hand grips. They could do with some padding.

And o rode it twice and didn’t even know a metal bar came down to secure your legs. Like I said, if your not over weight, the ride is so much fun!

I’m nearly 60. It was great. If you are heavy set and not nimble, you’re going to have a difficult time but not impossible to fit. If you think it’s going to be an issue, there is a model as you enter the ride to try for yourself. If not? Just ride the cart. All good.

It was a fun ride and I’m okay with the overall seat and restraints, although they should be relooked at as improvements can definitively be made both comfort and safety wise. My biggest problem that should definitely be addressed first is the handlebars, they felt like a dulled out cheese grater almost, my hands were definitely roughed up a bit. Overall, it was a fun and great ride but definitely can use improvements and if not the seats themselves, the handlebars most definitely.

Just got back from WDW last week and rode Tron twice. It was comfortable and I didn't notice the handle bar being rough. I really enjoyed it both times with no problems. My only complaint is that the ride is super short. Wish it were longer.

I went on this ride today but some people like to full on lay forward but don’t do that bc it will hurt but sit up! Also the storage in you seat isn’t the best choice and the lockers are really helpful and I could barley feel the bars on my legs. It was very fun overall

I road tron like 3 days before it officially opened and the grips were actually nice. They weren't used much and I found it pretty comforting cuz I'm a tall guy and knowing I can't fall out is good. So what I did it that was actually the first time riding an actual roller coaster😂😂

I went on Tron the other day and the only time I ever felt unsafe was when we were moving along the tracks at steep angles. I felt like I could slip through the space between the back and leg braces.

This ride is epic! I just rode it two months ago and I am going to this week! ATTENTION! This ride is a faster roller coaster than some ride such as, seven dwarfs mine train and big thunder mountain. This ride is way more calmer than guardians of the galaxy( which I don’t like.) If you like high speed roller coasters, and darkness( and btw it’s not dark you can see the whole time, trust me) and some slight smooth drops this ride is for you!!! Trust me you don’t want to miss this ride!

Dude, rode this recently. If you are wearing glasses make sure you've got them on TIGHT to make sure they Stat on. It's the only rode I went on on the day that recommended taking them off.

I got to ride it recently. I’m a fan of Tron so I was beyond excited. It was much fun and that speed is ridiculous irl! Definitely my new favorite ride in all of Disney World. Only thing I don’t like is how short it is and the virtual queue junk (worst thing ever created).

I got to ride the ride right when the park opened on Thursday. Getting on the cycle is definitely a little awkward, but comfy except in the chest part. All my women with larger chests might be a bit uncomfortable! I was a bit squished there and glad I didn't wear anything low cut.

I rode this yesterday for the first time. I didn’t even notice the mettle bars on my legs because I’m 12 so it didn’t actually touch me. The seats aren’t super uncomfortable but they aren’t the comfiest. The seats are like the same thing as avatar. It’s really fun but it’s also fast. It’s comparable to guardians of the galaxy or rock n rollercoaster (I’ve heard, I have only been on guardians once and I’ve never been on rock n rollercoaster) my family had a few problems with the lockers because me and my brother only had magic mobile (putting your magic band on your watch) The lockers open from both sides so you can put your stuff in on one side and take it out on the other. My mom’s backpack strap was stuck and a cast member had to open the door r on the other side. I recommend going on it when it’s dark out because there’s some cool lighting stuff for the outside part. (So my brother says) Overall It’s a really fun ride, even though I was initially terrified.

I rode it 4 times at Shanghai Disney yesterday and can say that if you know how to sit properly it is not uncomfortable. If you lay down on the plastic, of course it’s going to be uncomfortable. I’d say it’s User error. 😂 It’s a great ride!! *Note* I’m 6’4 270lbs
